I am a new reader from Dame A.C. , recently only have read 5 of her books, and am extremely surprised with this book. Hastings, as a loyal and engaging companion of the great detective Poirot, follows him through the whole stories, and incidentally fell in love with a girl that may be suspected holding a key role in the story. At the last 3 chapters I thought the book is finished, but it wasn't! An absolute breathtaking book to read if you are a fan of Agatha Christie work.
