Sid the Science Kid: What's that Smell? (I Can Read! Jim Henson's Sid the Science Kid: Level 1) Paperback – Import, 11 May 2010

My daughter has just discovered Sid so I thought she would like to have a book to look at instead of always watching the shows. She loves this book and I could probably recite the majority of it and we have only had it a week. And of course it is educational so I think this was a great buy!

I love all the "Sid the Science Kid" books. My grandaughter is 4 and really gets a lot out of them. She loves it when we are able to do some of the experiments in the books and so do I. Especially good for anyone that is homeschooling and needs ideas for Science classes. :)

As a teacher, I was intent on keeping my child away from t.v. as much as possible, but my 4 month old absolutely loves Sid. I was impressed with the quality of the book's illustrations and content. We have read the book over and over.

My granddaughter is learning to read and she loves Sid. It was great to find this book that gives her incentive.

Seriously. Are there other shows that will get and keep a 2-year-old's attention long enough to teach him the word, "molecules?" The premise behind Sid the Science Kid is brilliant and I'm so glad they put some of these lessons into short books! Both of my kids love this one.
