Portable Door Lock & Door Stop Alarm

If seen too many scary things on social media and I travel often both for work and personal. This isnt fail proof but it does add extra security when I stay at hotels. the lock is the best. It is sturdy and actually works as described.And it is not expensive so I bought a few for my friends!

I am so grateful these exist and work. Both of them are extremely easy to use. It does provide safety as well as piece of mind. My daughter broke up with her boyfriend and I just knew he still had a key to her apartment. The complex couldn’t change them out till the end of the week so I bought her these so she could at least lock herself in at night and fell safe. It also gave me piece of mind knowing no one could get in while she was home and sleeping. Well he did have a key and tried but was unable to get in she placed the locking device on the door and even with a key you cannot gain entry. She was awoken by the door stop alarm and went to her door and the locked open but he wasn’t able to get in. So they work. Defiantly get this if you live in an apartment because the office or maintenance have a key. Would work great at hotels too. Love that they work really well and affordable for everyone.

I have to give two reviews on these products. The portable door lock is exceptional. I quality it good, the size is just perfect and fits in most if not all doors of various hotels and even in homes. I feel great sense of security when I have it with me. I would buy again. I even give them as gift for women living alone. However, the doorstop alarm did not work. It is able to hold the door a bit but not well and even with the battery in no alarm went off. I would never buy this product again unless I needed it for just a door jam and not for security

This little kit is an excellent home or travel bit of added security. I use it daily! Got one kit that I keep on my back door on the front door. I have it near the door and use it if I take a nap during the day or if I’m sleeping at night or in the shower as I live out in a rather rural area where it’s hard to get law-enforcement to come out in a timely manner if there’s an issue so it buys you time to provide for your own safety and defense. Also got a spare kit from when I’m traveling. Had to recently go to a funeral out of state stayed at a KOA campsite and was going to use it there unfortunately the cabin I rented there was too wide of a gap between the door jam set up, and it would not provide adequate surface for this to lock in and would’ve allowed the door to just be opened anyway, so I wasn’t able to use it there, but it works great in hotels and anywhere else with your standard door jam. Love that the battery operated doorstop alarm is decently loud and you can adjust the sensitivity so if you have a door that rattles a little bit because you live in a windy area you can set it to where it won’t set it off so easily, but if someone where to force their way through it’s definitely going off. Definitely recommend it for those people with safety concerns are just want to buy themselves a little added time to react should someone have bad intentions and attempt to gain entry where they’re staying?

I bought both items in October. The door lock works fine, is convenient and doesn’t take much space in the luggage. I got to use the door stopper in one trip at the end of October. For my next trip in November didn’t work. When I got back home I tried multiple battery brands, didn’t work.

I bought the safety door lock because I would be traveling for work and would be renting a hotel overnight. I brought this with me and I tried it the first night I got there and come to my surprise. It actually doesn’t work. So there’s that. I did attach a video showing that it does not work. So the security of this is not great. I’m not sure if it is because the gap in between, but I read the instructions and I followed the instructions to the T and it still did not work. Also, the door stopper for the floor did not come with any batteries. It would need a 9 V battery. The idea is great for this safety mechanism if it actually worked. It is small and portable for you to keep it in your purse. Will be returning.

I bought these more for the door lock, but the pair was a good deal. The alarm works well, but oftentimes the door just pushes the alarm backwards. The lock on the other hand works perfectly. The door will NOT open when it’s jammed in there. So, the good is that it works perfectly, but the bad is that it doesn’t fit all doors. The gap has to be just right to fit and do its job. Probably more likely to fit in an older home. Great part about Amazon- if it fits, you’re golden; if it doesn’t, free returns.

the best little piece of mind when traveling solo with young daughter. This way she cant leave the room without me knowing (shes 4) and no one can come in without us knowing.

Stopped working after 5 months, also after trying out a new battery.

Not bad. Was is to put together. I’ve recommended it to family and friends.

Al principio es complicado saber como colocar el seguro naranja. Pero con las instrucciones ya uno le va entendiendo y al final es muy sencillo. Asegura muy bien la puerta y con el tope de puerta, suena bastante fuerte si se llegara a mover la puerta para abrirla. Una opción fácil y rápida para dar un extra de seguridad cuando estés de viaje. Aunque solo sirve para cuando se está dentro de la habitación.

The door stopper is awesome. Works well and is very loud. The door lock is a bit tricky to use and did get stuck in the latch. Would definitely buy the door stopper again,

Used them in hotel rooms, however, the locker was not suitable for a Premier inn door. These 2 items gave me peace of mind and allowed to sleep with earplugs.
