Q: What are the dimensions (width and length of the roll?)

The width is 1 1/8" (2.8 cm) and the length is 17' (5.2 meters).

Q: is this v-shaped when installed? What I'm trying to replace is a v-shaped copper door weather stripping. this appears flat in the product picture.

You Nail one side and the other pops out to seal when the door closes. Same as the older styele, just not a great photo.

Q: How thick is the material after installation? I can see light around my door, but the rubber weatherstripping is too thick, can’t shut door with it.

The short answer is that the thickness is ‘adjustable’ based on how much you bend the metal strip. Once you nail on the the metal, you need to carefully bend the free edge towards the door edge to create the seal. I would say the maximum gap you could close would be around 3/8”. Most pre-hung doors will fit the frame closer than that. This adjustment is mostly trial and error. You just keep bending the strip and closing the door to look for light or gaps, then bend some more. Hope this helps.

It was 17' - enough for top and two sides of the door jam. To be honest with you, I was not impressed with the product.
