Quality cognitive supplement with well-researched ingredients
These nootropics are popping up everywhere at the moment, and it's good to see a trusted brand name like PhD jump into the arena with a cognitive support supplement. They've opted not only for the usual suspects like Lion's Mane, Pantothenic acid and L-Tyrosine (which all have plenty of ongoing research around them), but also quite an exciting addition in Cognizin (Citicoline). It's not a compound I've seen included in other 'brain complex' supplements yet, and there's actually a fair bit of positive research into its beneficial effects on anything from day-to-day cognitive function all the way to dementia relief. If you want to take a supplement containing something there's still lots of buzz and active research about, then this is a good one.The suggested dosage on the tin is 3 capsules daily. The capsules themselves are pretty hefty and large, so you'll probably need a glass of water to down them, but they're otherwise tasteless and inoffensive enough. They're also vegan-safe too. With these supplements, I always say it's pretty hard to tell for sure whether they've had a positive impact personally - for one thing, I lack a 'control me' to make any comparison! But I've tolerated them well, I've been generally productive and efficient at work and study and am getting through lots of 'brain labour' successfully, so for sure, it's not doing any harm trying.Overall, it's a really good quality supplement. Hardly the most important thing about it, but I love the tin they come in too - easily recyclable or (more handily) reusable around the home. Great product from PhD.

Effective nootropic supplement that is easy to take and swallow
I’m a fan of nootropic supplements and this brand is effective for me. Usually, other brands will take weeks before I notice the effects, but this one only took days.PHD Nutrition is an expertly formulated daily capsule that combines specific adaptogens, nootropics, amino acids, and botanicals with affron saffron extract, bacopa monniera, L-tyrosine, phosphatidylserine, lion’s mane extract and ashwaganda. It also has withania somnifera which contributes to optimal relaxation. All these potent ingredients combined helps the body deal with stress, while supporting relaxation, as well as mental and physical wellbeing. The bottle contains 60 capsules and is recommended to take 2 capsules a day, providing a 30-day supply.I have tried a lot of nootropic supplements over the years, and some works fine, others are just hype. I’m pleased to say that this brand reached my expectation. On the fourth day, I noticed I could sleep well because I felt relaxed and not overly tired the entire day. It appears that the effect is consistent, therefore it is effective.Overall, the capsules are soft and small, easy to take, and it works well although is a bit too expensive in my opinion for such a short supply.

Seemed To Work, Shame About The Price
Never having heard of nootropics before, I was curious to give these a go. I'm a mum to an active toddler who now thankfully sleeps through the night but my busy mummy brain keeps me up WAY longer than I'd like. I've taken the whole supply of these and have certainly noticed a difference in feeling relaxed and much more able to drift off to sleep but the price at £24.50 (at time of reviewing) is way too expensive for 30 days supply. You get 6- tablets in what I feel is a way to large tub - I realise you can recycle this but I've no idea why supplements like this come half filled -make smaller bottle or add more in! The tablets are not overly big and are easy to swallow. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly which is a bonus but again doesn't justify the price. There is a long shelf life on them - mine were dated 07/2023 and don't smell or taste too bad either. While I liked the effect, I'm not a fan of the price so I will look elsewhere for similar products that are cheaper. Nice to try but at this price, far too expensive to maintain.

Good supplement for people with light sleeping issues
I’ve never actually heard of nootropics prior to getting this product. I wish I did now as after trying this supplement for a month I’m really happy with the results.I quite often get days where I struggle to fall asleep or wake up in the middle of the night and stay up for a long time. Really not ideal.I’ve started taking this supplement as soon as I got it. I want to say about a week in I’ve noticed improvement. I drift off to sleep a lot easier and what’s more important I sleep through the night. My sleeping issues were never really big, so I’m not sure if this would work the same with someone with proper sleep problems. The only thing I dislike is the price. At the moment of writing this review it’s just over £25 which is a pretty steep price to pay every month. The pills work well and as it’s PhD I want to believe you get quality and expertise with the product, but I just still can’t really get over the high price.Overall I do highly recommend this, as long as you’re ok paying the high price for it 👍🏻

Vegan supplement
This is quite an interesting supplement as it markets is self is a pre-workout but it doesn’t actually contain caffeine. However this is quite handy especially if I need a pre-workout in the evening and I don’t want to be consuming any significant quantity of caffeine that close to bedtime. As a vegan I always try to make sure my supplements are clearly marked as being vegan. It took a while but it does say on the packaging that this product is suitable for vegans. The quality of the ingredients are excellent and they haven’t included any nasty ingredients such as gelatin and have instead went for vegetarian capsules. I like the fact that these are capsules as opposed to powder so I don’t need to go through the hassle of mixing it with water. You are meant to take three capsules and as there are only 90 in the container this will last you only a month if taken daily. The container is made out of 100% recycled metal which is reassuring. I like the fact that it is in a metal tub that can be recycled as opposed to a plastic pouch that cannot and is more difficult to close.
