Powerline PHG1000 Home gym
Just finished putting this home gym together and had I not been an Aircraft mechanic I don't know how I could have put all the parts together using the instruction booklet they sent with it. The shipment came with many small items missing but the customer service was great and they immediately shipped all the parts that were missing from my shipment at no extra cost. The unit itself is a good deal for the money, not exactly fitness center quality but it gets the job done. Some items are a bit wobbly and even after shimming with a few washers to eliminate the wobble of some areas it worked on some but not all. The butterfly setup had the worst wobble and it is not a smooth range of motion, again not fitness center quality but I was able to get the leg curl setup to work smoothly. The unit looks sturdy enough but I think they should have put another support on the ground under the seat area to avoid some of the sway / wobble of the entire rack when in use. I use the entire weight stack that I ordered separately and it is a great addition to the unit and I recommend having it. Another issue was the handles you use to bench press, they were moveable but the design was not thought out as when you use the butterfly press they(the handles)will dig into your chest. Overall it is a decent unit and very affordable.********UPDATE****2015****Been a few years now and I am still not all thrilled with this unit. I finally worked all the wobble from the leg curl and bench press attachments through varying thicknesses of washer and shims. The post where the leg curl post/cushion goes through is bending from use so I hammered it back into place cause the metal is thin/weak. The butterfly attachment is junk and I am tired of having to constantly tighten the bolts that hold it into place on top. It wobbles quite a bit no matter how I shim it and I even used lock-tite on the bolts to no avail. It's a bad design and the bushings on it are just tearing up the holes they sit in and scraped all the paint off the top where they sit on. The entire rack sways and wobbles so bad that I actually mounted it to the wall studs in my gym and that has helped reduce the sway. Really not worth the cost now that I have had it so long and still can't work out the bugs. I don't recommend this unit at all, poor design and not worth the hassle for serious fitness minded people.

Almost great
Works just as good as the gym versions with 2 exceptions:1. It is not as stable as it should be. I had to put extra rubber under the back legs and the front leg to keep it from wobbling during use.2. The cable comes off of the front pulley wheel very easily if it is not pulled exactly straight out. This is a design flaw that needs to be corrected.I would have given it 5 stars were it not for those two things.Still, great bang for your buck!

I wish I had asked or realized
This seller did an excellent job of getting the equipment delivered. However, I didn't realize weights weren't included. Now, I have to get weights so the machine will work as expected. The quality of the machine shown in the picture is good. The assembling process took a lot of time, but directions were clear.

Smooth action and well built
Yes, the instructions are not super clear but they are easy to follow if you take your time. It did take a couple of hours to put together but now that it is together the machine is great. The action is very smooth from the lat pull down to pec deck to leg extensions to seated row. The wife likes it as well and commented on how smooth it was and how much it was like a machine found in a gym. I did not get the weight stack, I prefer to use plate weights. The machine is rated for 150 pounds max which should be plenty of weight for everything but bench press.

Good little home gym dose not take up a lot ...
Good little home gym dose not take up a lot of room. I hate that the end caps keep falling out. The wields on the little bar on the leg extension broke. It is apparent that that wield had incorrect penetration. Yes I know how to weild. I recommend getting the weight plates.

Shipped with a broken part, can't return it
Not only did it take HOURS to put together (and we are not novices at assembling items like this), when assembling one of few last parts we discovered it was broke. Now we have a worthless, useless piece of $400+ junk taking up space. I will not take 3-4 hours to disassemble a product (to return it) that should have been shipped and verified by AMAZON QUALITY CONTROL that the parts were there and in proper condition. It is a bunch of BS if you ask me. So I guess I am stuck with it. If I can get it out the front door I will set it out and maybe the garbage collector will pick it up.Don't waste your time, money, and sweat (assembling it)on this one.
