As expected

I wanted a wireless scanner to replace the 20 year old honeywell scanner we use for e-ticket. It does allow me to assign it a com port. It read most IDs and populates data but its quirky. You must pull trigger and wake it up, wait for the ready beep then open the new citation. It also wont take a photo like the honeywell. other than that it works well.

Good product，Connects to computer in multiple ways (USB, WiFi, Bluetooth). Reads multiple bar code types. Can store read data in unit for later upload to computer.

IT DOEST NOT WORK AT ALL I HAVE GOT THE REPLACEMENT THAT ONE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE

I bought this as a spare for my work. It is now on my desk permanently.

This is my first barcode scanner. Here is my experience. The USB dongle is stored in the heel of the scanner. Look there when you can’t find it in the box.When assembling the stand I found that the single leg of the stand should be under the scanner holder rather than the two short legs as shown on Amazon picture. Then it assembled easily.The scanner will scan in the ‘continuous’ mode. You have to have Symcode send you the appropriate bar codes: ‘continuous’ to turn it on and ‘level’ to turn it off. For some reason, it is not in the manual received with the scanner.I asked Symcode for the barcode to read the 17 digit barcode used on USA mass market paperback books. The code they sent (they want you to print it on A4 printer setting) reads the 17 digits but substitutes zero for the right hand 1 to 3 digits on the several paperbacked books I tried. A follow-up query for a fix for this has gone unanswered. My first queries (3) received a response within 24 hours. I used the Amazon chat function to get ahold of them.Overall, the scanner performs very well. With the exception of the 17 digit code, above, it read every barcode I put in front of it. Had they provided a good response for the 17 digit barcode I would have given them 5 stars.

I use this for doing stock takes, so much faster than the old manual approach and less room for errors too! For the fact it works with iOS devices and the usual others this is ideal for almost any situation you need to track barcodes. One useful feature would be to not only list the barcodes it scans but tally them too to save the effort later on. Build quality is good too.

We have 5 barcode scanners in our facility. This had a nice cradle. Lightweight. Small square beam of light to locate the barcode. Bought this to replace 1D scanner with scanner that can also scan 2D PDF417 barcodes. We scan 2 of 9, pdf417, UPC, UPC case barcodes. Out of the box, we found on the PDF417 barcodes it is a little slow. Other 2d scanners recognize those barcodes immediately. We were able to live with that. A few days later we had a problem scanning some simple UPC case barcodes. We eventually got one of them to scan by moving the scanner in & out. We could not get another one to scan at all. We tested with other scanners and the other scanners were able to scan these immediately with no issue. It might have been a quality issue with the barcode, but the quality was good enough for 3 other scanners we tried to be able to scan immediately. Sending back. Will try another brand. We have 2 hours per day allocated to scan about 500 boxes. We do not have the time to waste minutes trying to scan one box. That could easily increase the time spent scanning by 25% to 50% with just a handful of scanning issues.

I purchased this work, another company sell this gun for $300+. This gun worked right out of the box no calibrating needed. The instruction manual has many options including adding a vibration feature after each scan, the Battery lasts a long time I think i have only charged it once during the week i use it everyday.Only thing is i wish the charger cable was built into the stand, but its not a huge deal.

Easy to set up and use. No lagging in reading the barcodes. My mom uses it at school for her library and would recommend this product

Fast to connect to BT, fast to read the code bar also the beam is larger than my last scan and offert better and faster scan.

There is no auto mode. Vendor did not respond after I found out that there is no way to turn on the auto mode.The descriptions says "Continuous Scan: Set scanner to continuous scan mode by scanning setting code to making it scanning automatically without pressing any buttons,and the stand included in the box making you to release your hands.When scanner get into continuous mode,the laser will be always on."
