Good product.
Good product. A little goes a long way. Keeps a good hold till you wash it out. Says it’s unscented, but it smells (faintly) of clay (at least I think so) but it’s not a bad smell and it either goes away or you get used to it and stop noticing. Will buy again.

My goto
My go-to for mustache styling. Works pretty doggone good for handlebar. Not as strong as a very stiff wax. But the perfect go-to and you don't want stiff wax mustache. Washes out easily. Doesn't have a scent. Although I would not mind the stagecoach smell at all. Easy to scoop up with a fingernail and apply.

decent but...
not a fan of the smell, smells like a house built in the 1920s with slight mold damage and someone's trying to cover up the smell. other than that it has a decent hold and is easy to use. smells not overwhelming but could deff use a new scent. also price is mid range for stashe wax.

Works extremely well for long mustaches
I am really impressed by how well Mudstache holds, especially given my longer mustache. I initially went in with low expectations since I'd been using Death Grip's Extra Strong Hold, which is notorious for its rigidity. But Mudstache won me over. My routine is simple: I apply Mudstache to a freshly showered and dried mustache in the morning. Throughout the day, I’ll reapply or adjust as needed. Pros: - Applies effortlessly. It goes on much easier than traditional waxes—no need to warm it up and less time to work it in. - Exceptional hold for the effort. Paradoxically, it holds far better than you'd expect from something so lightweight and easy to apply. - Lightweight feel. It doesn't weigh down the mustache or leave it feeling stiff or greasy. - Matte finish. No shine—your mustache looks natural, not lacquered. - Less mess. Wax is extremely sticky, hard to wash off, and tends to get on everything. Mudstache, on the other hand, rinses clean from my fingers in seconds. Cons: - Requires some upkeep. You’ll likely need to adjust or reapply it during the day, especially compared to a wax like Death Grip, which turns your mustache into stone. Overall, if you're looking for a product that offers a natural look with surprising hold—and don’t mind the occasional touch-up—Mudstache is absolutely worth a try. [Review improved using ChatGPT]

Great holding power. A superior wax
I am fairly new to a full mustache and have been rocking a Hungarian for a few months. My first wax was fisticuffs which I guess was ok but it took a lot of wax and would often not hold the right side of my mustache which grows in an awkward direction naturally. So I decided to try a wax that was composed of different ingredients (I believe fisticuffs is mainly beeswax). I have to say I am super impressed with this product and I now realize styling my mustache isn’t actually difficult it’s just I didn’t have the right wax for me. This product sets QUICK, holds for a long time, needs little product and is almost unnoticeable in my mustache. I used this for a theme park today, rode rollercoasters and everything and it held just fine. Love this wax.

Decent, but there’s better out there
The hold is good, and it’s not too bad to work into your mustache. The downside is that even in a sealed jar, it develops almost a “pudding skin” on top that kind of hardens and has to be scraped off before getting to the wax you want to use. The “pudding skin wax” doesn’t warm and melt between your fingers the same as the rest and stays in clumps in your ‘stache. Kind of a pain. Scent isn’t the best but isn’t horrible, you’ll go nose blind to it anyway.

Great Stuff.
WOW, finally a product that works. This wax is soft to apply, and you don't need a whole lot. This mud actually tames those hairs that you can't wait until they get long enough to fall in place. somewhat of an earthly smell, which disappears quickly. I was looking for a product that didn't need heating up, like so many out there. Anyway I recommend this mud, and just for a note, I through away my Clubman wax tube.

Great Wax for the handlebar journey!
I’ve had some false starts with Handlebar growing over the years. This Mudstache product has made my most recent attempt successful. Generally,I’d start growing one committed to it. After some annoyance of errant whiskers I’d trim it. Then a few years later I’d try again. Recently, I stopped shaving my stache about 6 mos ago, and got past that most awkward stage. I couldn’t be happier and this Mudstache product has been a fantastic game changer. It’s helped me get over the hump because of its convenience. Easy to apply, style, and wash out. The folding comb is very decent. For the money it’s a solid amount of product. Highly recommended product to a handlebar newbie like me. As I learn more and progress I may try other products, but I really like the fact this is unscented and gonna stick with it for now. I’ve found waxes with fragrance annoying so that’s a plus. Mudstache seems to have moderate to strong hold. I hate products that look real greasy. This doesn’t when applied moderately. For the aspiring handlebar grower, three bits I’ve learned. 1.) Don’t trim ever when your intention is to grow a handlebar. You might make a mistake it will take time to grow back and frustrate you. 2.) You do you. A handlebar is gonna get looks and comments. There will be an initial period that is awkward where the whiskers feel all over the place. Tell yourself how awesome it’s gonna be. If it was easy, everyone would have one. Look at pics of dudes in the 19th Century and how killer it looks. Just don’t quit on yourself before the magic happens. Once you get a little initial length, start combing the shape you want. Hold the errant hairs down with product like this Mudstache. The container says “training wax” and it does a great job at that. There will be this day in about 3.5 mos - possibly sooner for you - where you are getting over the initial hump. You’ll comb and shape your stache one magic day and you will see it really taking shape and also see how it will soon be ready for prime time. It’s a great feeling to know you can keep going. You’ll always have the choice to trim but will likely be glad you didn’t. 3.) Optional, but don’t tell your significant other your initial intention to grow a handlebar. Staches are polarizing. Only you have the vision to see how it will look. During the awkward growth phase, you may get frustrated. Should you voice it, the objective answer from a loved one will be “just shave it off”. You just need to keep combing and apply product at that point. Your loved one may not notice what you are doing til you have some nice length and shape. If you are happy and confident with it at that point, everyone else in your world will generally agree. GLTA !!!

Crazy price hikes
Gouging price hikes! I paid $17 for two containers in December and now the price is $31! No thanks! Good product but not worth it at that price. I’ll just leave my morning yoghurt in my stache from now on.
