Bio Bidet Flow Touchless Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer, Low Single Handle, Brushed Nickel

Just replaced our 20+ year old kitchen faucet with this Bio Bidet model and it is an excellent replacement. The installation was a snap with the included instructions and via the design. This was my first time with replacing a faucet and it went very smoothly. We went with the brushed nickel finish since we have a stainless steel double-sink and the match is so close that you can't really tell the difference. My only minor issue was with the compartment that stores the batteries. You have to replace the module in the space in a particular position or it can be a challenge to get the door closed back over the batteries, but this is a nit pick and not a major issue at all. I appreciate the quality of the materials and the touch-less eye requires just the right distance from your hand that you would want to turn on/off the faucet automatically. The other feature I really love about this unit is the auto water flow start by simply pulling the sprayer head down and out of the unit, then stopping on its return to the spout. It's a nice extra function that you naturally fall into using all the time. If your looking for a great, modern, stylish, easy to install kitchen faucet, I highly recommend you give this one strong consideration. Excellent value for what you pay, easy to install, works like a charm and looks great!

This may be the first, or at least one of very few positive reviews I've bothered to write on Amazon. That should indicate how much I truly like this faucet. I have been in 3 houses in the past 7 years and the first thing I do is buy one of these faucets. As others have already said, it always works, and the batteries last a very long time. When I first shopped for a touchless faucet, this one stood out as the only one that would automatically turn on/off as soon as you pulled the sprayer head down/up. I don't know if other manufacturers have caught up to the feature, but I don't care. This is a quality product at an incredibly reasonable price. Also, just today, when switching between manual and automatic mode, I broke the knob on the black controller box and water started leaking from it. I panicked and thought: (1) I was in for a hardware store trip in order to get parts to bypass the box; and (2) I was going to have to order an expensive replacement part (or whole new faucet!). But neither was the case. (1) the 2 hoses (in & out, essentially) unplug from the box and plug into each other with no tools needed, so I was able to bypass the box in under a minute. (2) I easily found their replacement parts webpage and a brand new replacement controller box was only $20 !! I had originally thought I'd try to file some sort of warranty claim, but for just $20 it was a no-brainer to just order it (with a lot of products, you end up having to buy the entire product again just to get your hands on a single replacement part). I would honestly never consider buying anything but this faucet, or a future version of it. If you end up considering buying something else because the finish options don't match your kitchen hardware, I'd recommend you change your kitchen hardware to match instead. Honestly.

I just finished installing my new BioBidet flow faucet. It is striking against our granite counter tops. The brushed nickel finish is a nearly perfect match to the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The rise of this faucet is impressive and adds quite a bit of style to our kitchen. The installation was straight-forward. In fact, it took longer to remove the old faucet than to install the new BioBidet faucet. The only unique challenge was our corner sink - it made the mounting of the control box more difficult because the cabinet walls were so far away from the faucet. I had to make a custom mount from an old plastic storage box to bring the control box away from the wall to reach the ideal distance from the faucet. Additionally, I had to add an extension to each of the supply lines to get from water supply valves to the faucet connections. It would have been handy to have the faucet connections labelled for hot versus cold (I was lucky and got it right the first time). My wife and mother were the first testers at breakfast this morning and both of them love the sensor activation and how they can get the water to run simply by pulling on the sprayer hose (and to stop when the hose is replaced in the faucet dock). It is terrific that it takes intention to activate the sensor (you have to get close). We tested to see if putting dishes in the sink or tossing a dishrag in the sink would inadvertently activate the faucet, but we couldn't fool the sensor even once. The faucet does stop automatically after 3-minutes of running (I suppose this is in case you have a cat activate the sensor while you are at work). This is a terrific value when considering the costs from other vendors for a similar product. The build quality is solid and I think this faucet will last a very long time. Product includes a 5-year warranty.

I really like this faucet. I've had it for almost two months now (9/8/16) and it's working great and haven't had to change the batteries yet. At first I thought it would be like the ones in a public bathroom where they only come on when your hands are moving under the faucet. This isn't the case but it comes in handy more than I thought. It has a 3 minute timer to shut it off if it gets turned on accidentally. I like the nickle finish. My favorite feature is the pull the spout out and it turns on. Put the spout back and it turns off. Installation was pretty easy. I did have to go to the hardware store and get longer hoses to reach the hot and cold supply which cost me about $10. The only con I have is that the flow control handle is very sensitive. Full off or full on are easy but in between has very sensitive adjustment. I got it on Prime Day and the price was great for a faucet with these features and this finish. I would recommend this product.

Love this kitchen faucet. This is our second purchase of this faucet. After moving to a different house I had to have this facet in that house as well. Like the hands free and batteries last for years. Nice finish and good operation.

This is my second one of these, had to replace the first 3 yrs in. It just clicks when you pull or activate sensor, no water passes. The second I just received was defective, the neck wobbled on the base, ended up having to steal the neck from my old one to get a properly working faucet. - Their website has zero troubleshooting help. - The “manual operation” doesn’t work. It says “ turn counter clockwise for manual operation. Fails to mention how many times, half turn, full turn, 1, 2, 3 turns??? I tried every possible combination and got nothing but a warped under sink floor thanks to this terrible product. - If you have to order a new black box, if you want it any sooner than 10 days, you might as well buy a new one the shipping is so ridiculous.

The quality is really good for a company I have never heard of. Not sure why they do not advertise more! The installation was relatively easy after removing the old facet. The motion sensor is a unique feature but I feel like the range is a little limited, you have to practically wave your hand right in front of it to work. I know this is probably a design "feature" to limit unwanted on and off cycles when you are standing at the sink, but I felt like if I had to reach that far to the facet, I might as well just use the handle...which by the way is disabled when you are in the "motion sensor" mode. It will take some getting used to, but overall I still feel like it is great quality, looks nice, and has utility. The rectractable end with auto-on and off is a great bonus! I would recommend this product, just wish I could modify the sensor range slightly!

Like any DIY project it is never as easy as you think. In this case, the faucet was an absolute SNAP to install. It took me 5-10 minutes to install the faucet and control box, so kudos to Biodet for making installation easy. This doesn't include the 60-90 min to figure out how to wrench my old faucet out and the struggle to get my inlet hoses to fit the faucet hoses (thanks to a bad house plumber, who would think to use standard sizes???). Before you take anything apart make sure you have looked at the connections to make sure you don't need to run to the hardware store 4-5 times. It looks very nice and the sensor works as advertised. It is nice to wave your hand instead of touching the handle, especially when your hands are full or dirty. In my few minutes of use the only thing I noticed is that when you pull out the spray hose that it does not snap back into place. When it does snap into place the water automatically turns off, it also turns on when you pull the sprayer out. Some reviewers have said it does not have a back check valve so the cold water constantly mixes with the hot water making the hot water heater run constantly. I am not sure about the hot water heater issue, but I had the cold water inlet hooked up and hot water inlet disconnected. When the cold water went on it worked fine. When you made the temperature warmer cold water started flowing out of the hot water hose on the faucet. I find this but perhaps Biodet has a perfectly good reason for this activity. I ended up installing a check valve on the hot water line just in case. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the sprayer weight doesn't seem heavy enough and I will call Biodet this week to figure out solution (could be a few fishing sinkers to fix it). I bought based on reviews and I am so far impressed.
