Sizes are spot on.
The black pair seem more forgiving and flexible compared to the blue Jean version. The black ones are most comfortable. Been wearing shorts all summer, so putting reinforced jeans on is a dramatic change that'll take some adjustment.

Finally ! Motorcycle pants that don't look silly
Unexpected quality and fit!!!If you're reading this you already know how bloody difficult it is to find a pair of motorcycle pants that don't look ridiculous and fit correctly...AND...offer true slide protection. Well, I took the Amazon bait and pulled the trigger on these Scorpion EXO denims, and I'm really impressed - and I do not impress easily at all.The skinny:I'm a 200-ish #, 5'11, 35x36 American jeans size. I ordered the 36 because I'm adding D3o armor to these, and it was suggested to go a size up, which is good advice. The fit is SPOT ON, which I was honestly not expecting. I double checked to see if I got the size I ordered, and I had. Another surprise is that these are NOT sewn in the CCP, which makes me more impressed. They're sewn up in Pakistan, and the Pakistanis KNOW hot to make garments correctly (yeah China, I'm looking at you and your inability to use a tape measure). My official wardrobe supervisor (wy lovely wife) says, and I'll quote "nice ***....I mean, those fit you well!". So I'll take that as a biased win.The denim is heavy and deep blue. I'm pretnear sure I'll have some swassy summer rides in these, but it beats wearing multicolored "ski pants". They do look, fit, and feel like any other standard men's jean pant. Straight legged and long (which is important ya know). I'd guess at least 36". Button and zipper are solid and the stitching looks to be of top quality (time will tell). The Kevlar (and it does list on the tag "Dupont kevlar") is a liner that covers from waist to shin in front, and you're entire rear down the the back of the knee. There's an additional liner material that completes the rest of the inside spaces. Personally I could do without that, but it's whatever. Some folks have commented about the knee pads being too low, and yes, when standing they are a bit displaced. But once you bend your knees to sit they orient themselves nicely and is likely the expected position if you become an official pavement inspector. Hips are in a proper location as well. The dirt:I have questions about the pocket for the armor. Don't misunderstand me, the pockets are well placed and hold the Kilm D3o armor I have, but there's these odd placementsnof multiple Velcro patches that confounded me. Why? What's the reason behind this? Maybe someone in Amazonia can fill me in on these? So there. Coffee has done it job, and y'all read my jabbering. Enjoy, and keep the rubber on the road.TL/DR:nice pants, fit well, not made in China.

Real Life Experience Review
I bought these from Amazon four years ago. I bought two pairs. Paid the same price they are currently selling for. On March 29, 2021 that paid for themselves many times over. I crashed my 2015 Harley-Davidson FLHTK on a highway in downtown Phoenix, AZ. I won't get into details of the wreck because my memory of the actual crash has some gaps; or the hit-and-run driver of the car involved, because I was told that none of the witnesses got a plate number. But I hit the ground hard. Broken clavicle, seven ribs each broken in multiple places, and a head that is pretty beat up from the collision with the helmet liner - everything on the right side. Other injuries, some that required surgery while in the care of the trauma team at the hospital, that was a short distance from the crash site. I also thought I had road rash on my knees, nowhere else. I was amazed at how well the pants protected my legs, and told myself to come here to write a review when I got to feeling better. After four days in the hospital I was released to come home. Today I decided to look at my jacket and pants to see just how they held up.This is a review of the pants, so I will focus on that. The EMTs cut off my pants from the bottom of the leg all the way up to the crotch. I held the cut pieces together and cannot see where the fabric opened up near my knees. What I thought was road rash apparently is just from my knees impacting the inside of the pants when I hit the road - not from any scraping of skin along asphalt. The only part of the pants that gave way to the scraping was the right rear pocket where I carried my wallet. And that is a pretty small hole that never got large enough for the wallet to come loose. After four years of regular wear they did their job perfectly. The longest recovery right now looks to be the ribs, which will take "four to six weeks" to heal. When I buy stuff, I don't always write reviews, if the stuff only does what I bought it to do. The pants looked like new when I put them on last Monday, even though they were four years old. The were always very comfortable. I would recommend to any rider that you should be wearing these pants.I am ambulatory, able to do things for myself - although my wife is here and extremely supportive - and in good spirits. I owe my condition to the gear. All of my gear did what they are supposed to do, which is why I am here today and able to write this review.

Comfortable, but too short for tall people
The jeans are comfortable and seem to have padding in the right places. They work: I dropped a small bike on gravel at low speeds while wearing these pants and my knee hurt a little but the skin didn't break. I think I would've scraped my knee if I was only wearing regular jeans. I'm not sure how well they would hold up in a high speed incident, but probably better than your bones. However, the sizing is a bit awkward for a tall person. I normally wear 34x34 pants, and while the size 34 of these fit well in the waist they were too short and left exposed skin above my boots. I had to order the size 36 to get the right length, but now I have to wear a belt as the waist is far too loose. It would be nice if you could choose width and length, not just width.

Lack of inseam options and flimsy velcro pockets make these hit or miss
I ordered these because they're one of the best reviewed pair of motorcycle jeans, but just like with pricier and cheaper options, I've ran into the problem where there are no options for the inseam, so the knee armor in the pockets sits quite a bit lower than I feel they should, and I have to tug my legs up when I get on my bike. The velcro also doesn't exactly feel confidence inspiring when the knee armor inserts from below, so gravity is constantly fighting against velcro.Otherwise they're pretty comfortable jeans for the price.

Feels Good / Looks Good
Good looking pair of jeans. Unfortunately, only one way to find out if they are as durable as we would hope

Poor sizing
Jeans seem to run small. I'm a 32 waist and I can barely buckle them up.

Great riding jeans.
Great pair of jeans; name is accurate, as they look like normal pants. They are a touch long for me, which is a pain when walking, but makes them perfect when on the bike. Wish they had harder panels at knee and hip, but these can be added. Fit for me is the same as my usual waist size.

Good quality clothing
Nice fit and I did order one size up for another pair of pants inside of them for the cold morning rides. Should of came with knee pads for the price. It took 3 months to get.
