It’s not our friend its our enemy.!in Bunyan’s pilgrim progress, it was said that a preacher was against sin in the pulpit but had no problem with it living in his house. This short book is long on exposing sin at home and in the heart. Read study and meditate on the word of God and the God of the word. Prayer singing and fellowship are tools for KILLING SIN. Everyone who loves God HATES Sin.

good book but kinda of a hard read

Scott skillfully and simply unveils the battle plan for victory over sin in the Christian life. His handling of the Word of God is sublime and builds on the tradition and wisdom of the Puritans.This is an absolute must read for the Christian who would effectively war with their sin and win.

This was a great book on how to fight sin. What I really enjoyed were the biblical truths that we should be applying and applications of fighting not sin. Got to the root of the problem and how to fight at its source. Highly recommended so we can continue to walking in the victory we already have in Christ.

This book is awesome. One of the best books I've ever read on killing the flesh. I will use this in my personal life and teach it to others.

Great book that points us to Christ and shows how sin is deceiving. Many ptactical helps. Good theology. It isn't let go and let God. God helps us through the Holy Spirit "to do" good works. I will definitely re-read this book!
