Awesome book, worth reading!
I really like the way the author writes. It’s very well written and I learned things I wish I would have been taught in high school. It’s very comprehensive and interesting. I can’t wait to buy the 2nd book.

Amazing! The truth and nothing but
Matthew Ereht is an amazing researcher and author. This is how it really happened. Zero bias. Required reading for middle school and beyond. Especially adults. Stop reading and believing the lies public school told you and know the truth. Backed up by thousands of citations and facts

What you Don’t Know . . .
The curtain is being pulled back and the true history of the great drama that has played out over the centuries is being revealed. Do not be fooled any longer. Ignorance is not bliss. And what you don’t know will only serve to perpetuate the slavery that has become so normative it is barely even noticed.

Will Revolutionize Your Understanding of the American Revolution
Matthew’s “Clash of Two America’s” reads like a people’s history, an earnest search for the truth of what has been transpiring in the United States since inception. It is a buck against a wanting establishment narrative which has been sold to us for decades and centuries. Ehret is extremely well-read with a knack for recalling, at-will, names, places, events, and dates, thus providing him with a broad breadth and depth of understanding based on factual historical material. While the book may not get everything right 100%, I don’t believe any book on history or politics does. He brings us much closer to the truth than many in recent years have done and reading Volume One of The Unfinished Symphony will truly make you interested in and passionate about history once again!

Reconstructing Official History
Here we have a history that you won't find in the politically bland classroom texts. Instead we find a thread that links the social and economic history of the U.S. in a thread that gives tendencious meaning to the "American System" that was upheld by its most prominent advocates. Some popular icons of Americana will be diminished, while others are raised to a more appropriate level of esteem and unheralded heroes of the past are given their due homage.Adam Smith is finally knocked off his "free market" pedestal and the not so invisible hand of the British empire is revealed to perpetually claw at its American vassals. The hidden role of Russia as an ally during the Civil War and its aftermath is particularly fascinating.

Great read.
This was a great read. Lots of information I simply wasn't aware of, so I'm very glad I read it. It gives a unique take on American history, especially so on the topic of national banks. It's made me reconsider some of the views I previously held. The one criticism I would make is that the book's a little too anti-British -- or at least anti the British Empire / influence. I don't think Britain is/was as malign as the book paints. There are positives as well as negatives. Then again, I am British, so I'm no doubt slightly bias myself.Either way, the book's an excellent read, and it's very fresh; giving a perspective on history that I hadn't been exposed to before.

Outstanding
Could do with a bit of proof-reading and subbing, though. Content is great, illuminating, even inspiring. A story rarely told other than in clichés and costume-drama simplifications. Ehret provides chapter and verse for an American history that rings true and explains a great deal (such as the South) that is otherwise mystifying to a distant observer. Can’t wait to read the two remaining volumes.
