GLOBAL Games Robotech: Attack On The SDF-1

The stupendous quality and tremendous amount of thought that went into this game is surprising and breathtaking. In full disclosure, I am a huge fan of the Robotech source material (loving it since childhood). I am eagerly waiting for sons to be old enough to share in it. Have bought the other Robotech games (tiles and tactics games), but this one is on a whole other level with regard to the game boards, pieces, cards, and even a mock-up of the SDF-1 you use in the game. Solidly built (haven’t actually seen game board, cards etc. this nice and sturdy... especially great if kids will play it). Bought the game to play with friends (some new to Robotech) and for my kids in a few years. What’s amazing is the developers created it so solo play is also possible... very cool. It is complex with a learning curve. But worth it. And that detail, nuance and all the various elements are so satisfying, especially for fans. So worth the money...and thanks to the developers for making this, and for making a grown man kind of giddy, feeling that same sense of joy and wonder as when I huddled with brother to watch the next episode after school.
