Perfect
So the flipper valve on our toilet decided to stop working today. The water is very hard where we live and it appears the flipper valve calcified over time. I was able to find a YouTube video demonstrating the same issue and how to install a new one. It was very simple to install and worked for our toilet. Not only was the piece perfect but it was also priced well and Amazon was able to deliver the part the same day ♡

Flapperless - The greatest thing since toilet paper...With one HUGE caveat!
There is no doubt that the flapperless dump bucket toilets are far superior to the flappers as they provide a stronger flush with less water. However, when they start leaking they make almost no noise...I had to pull the tank cover to hear the very faint hissing and see the spill bucket was full to the rim & spilling over into the tank/bowl very slightly. The hissing was inaudible with the cover on & the leakage was slow enough not to present itself in the bowl...where it did show up was on my water bill which was triple the normal amount. So yes, the flapperlesss toilets are much better but you need to keep a close ear/eye on them & pull the cover periodically to inspect for leaks. The flappers are noisy when they are leaking & often just jiggling the handle shuts them off. The valve that this one replaced was only about 5 years old but the seal/metering pin are subject to wear & degradation...don't find this out the expensive way! The valve is super easy to replace (make sure to flush the line out first if you turned the water off at the wall) & don't forget to swap the little white round restrictor orifice from the old one to the new one. If any adjustment is necessary just turn the thumb screw on the float, no tools are required for the job. PS: My city water company is great & has promised to adjust my bill so it's worth a call if it happens to you.

Super easy and quick!
This now a perfect fit to replace the previous model number 703A5B fluidmaster. Just remember the remove the small white regulator from the old one, this model does not come with it. When your remove the old one, tilt it back to look inside the threaded portion and you will see it. I used a small screwdriver to remove it.

Works well, but failed at 1 year
It fits perfectly, and works perfectly, but doesn't hold up well. It's easy to install, and doesn't leak, but the one we bought almost exactly a year ago, was failing. We did replace it with the same unit - it's price is good - but it should last more than a year.

Great product. As described
Works great. It's a louder then my old one but it fills the toilet much faster. No complaints!

This replacement is so unbelievably easy to change out. You wouldn’t need too much skill to get this job done yourself.it is identical to the broken one I replaced and works perfectly.

I love my flapperless toilet. I changed everything to stop the running toilet and finally gave up and got a flapperless toilet. Now there is only one part and takes seconds to change it. This is a spare in case it is needed. So far 2 plus years in and it is still my spare. A good open for DIYers like myself who aren’t the most mechanically inclined

This was the easiest DIY I have ever done. I rent and the probability of waiting days for a repair was unappealing. Totally worth it! Especially with the price drop while it was I my cart!

Our new flapperless Niagra commode work flawlessly for 5 years then suddenly took an hour to refill. Kind of panicked when I looked at the fill valve - it was like some sort of alien technology that I assumed would be pure unobtainium (very expensive). Very relieved these are only $25. Arrived in under 48 hours, popped it in (no tools required) and worked perfectly. The genius of these is that when they fail, they fail closed, the valve still shuts off when it finally fills the internal tank. The internal tank keep water away from the external tank preventing "sweating" which ruins the walls around old-style tanks. Also no flapper to degrade or expensive ball cock to rust. Just 25$ every 5 years. Zero maintenance. One note to manufacturer - these eventually fail because they are directly attached to unfiltered tap water and clog due to mineral scale build up. Maybe a filter could be inserted and you could sell just the filters. The valve itself would likely last a lifetime.
