Superior to standard dual drive extruders
I believe this design is superior to the "Standard" dual drive extruders that cost around 15 bucks. I'm using this on my Anycubic Vyper and so far, I'm impressed. I think the major improvement over the standard design is that the gears pushing the filament are fixed in place and are both driven at the same time from the stepper. The spring system that applies pressure to the filament does not influence any gear meshing whatsoever. Very nice.I have two minor complaints though:1: The drive gear that goes onto the stepper shaft is a touch big making it not perfectly concentric. This prevented me from making the gears mesh as tightly as otherwise possible.2: The bowden tube quick connects are really cheap. One already fell apart. Luckly it uses standard threads so I was able to screw in one of my replacements I had on hand.3: Its expensive for what it is. I also don't see any reason why this has to be aluminum... other than looking nice. But at this super-premium price, you think it would come with quality quick connects. Sheesh.

Scary good with mild tweaks. (update: routinely breaks filament)
Quick Long Term Update: I have six printers at the moment. The one with this extruder is the only one that will routinely break the filament on long prints. Something about the design makes it so that occasionally the first gear will lose grip or the second wheel jams, and then the filament snaps. It's happened often enough I recognize the sound and can usually run and quickly save the print but I don't want that kind of excitement. If it keeps happening, I'll go back to a bondtech clone. I've tried adjusting the spring tension to no avail. This is a real bummer. I really loved this extruder. My experience has been that the included springs with the kit are too strong. I may change them. It honestly grips like iron with the adjustment nuts backed out almost to the point of falling out with the spring latch. It's so much better than the bondtech clones I was in love with. I did get a little bit of "extruder patterning" on faces on some prints. That's why I backed the springs out. So basically if you start getting extruder patterns on your prints with a bondtech extruder, it's because the gears aren't tight enough and one is sloppy so it makes a pattern on your print every rotation. If you tighten it goes away. This one, the opposite. If you are getting a pattern, the gears are biting the filament too hard. With the springs at their loosest setting I've had no slip, and if there are still extruder patterns, I'm not seeing them. Having both gears directly powered rather than the "assist gear" setup of the bondtech makes a night and day difference with print quality. If you own a Super Racer, right after ordering your 265mm PEI steel plate kit (which you should do immediately. They are so nice and so cheap) you should get one of these. I ended using 401 for esteps instead of their suggested 384 because it was 401 when I measured. Always measure.Great product. Great engineering. It feels like you got your money's worth when it's in your hands, and really feels like it when you see your prints. That being said, if you aren't having extruder issues at all, you probably won't see any difference. And there are people having zero issues with the bondtech clone extruders. Maybe they are lucky. If you are having issues try just tightening up the hinge screw first. That will keep the assist gear in time with the real one. Hopefully. If not, come back here and get your upgrade.Hope this helps

Works well. Tension screws come loose though.
I installed tgis on my FLSun SR and had to remove it and flip it 180° because it was feeding up instead of down. That was not a problem though. What is a problem is that the bottom tension screw backs out as soon as i remove the hex wrench. I have to adjust it before each print.

works great, make sure you get your gears tightened correctly
I have had no issues with this extruder. I have installed them on my two FLSun SR's and never looked back.

I'm sure it's ok...
I had issues with this one. It's very nice looking and light, major pluses to me, but both take a backseat to it actually working. I have built many extruders over the years and this one went together pretty easily, and once it was done it would pull the filament no problem. However, once retractions started, it just chewed the filament up and had a lot of slippage. No matter how tight or loose (obviously there is a sweet spot, just couldn't find it) I had it, it just wouldn't keep up with retractions during printing. But it if was a steady, slow print it was ok. I rebuilt it several times and every looked perfect, so I'm not really positive what happened. Ended up returning it.

Terrible Product and Terrible Customer Service
Received the extruder and the installation was easy and smooth however started to notice that the bearing gears started to wear out prematurely. We then reached out to the vendor and instead of working on a solution, they had me play e-mail tag with them repeated asking what my order # and e-mail account was--- it's literally on the receipt that is attached to the body of the e-mail.I would not trust these guys and give it a negative star if possible.

Huge improvement over the stock unit in my Kobra Max
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and fixed all of my extrusion issues. Once installed I couldn't move the pla at all when in the extruder. My old factory one would slip with a tug no matter how I set the tension.

Works better than stock extruder.

Easily the best extruder I have. No more under extrusion and EASY to feed filament through.
One of the most annoying thing with my 3D printer is its clone titan extruder. feeding a filament through it is extremely difficult requiring the filament to be sharpened and straightened just to thread it through. This never had that problem it was EASY to feed fresh new filament through. and never have i had to worry about under extrusion or grinding my filament !

Very good Extruder
Very good extruder indeed so far, one problem though that dropped full marks is the little grub screw that tightens the cog onto your stepper motor is too long & catches on the filament roller spring loaded assembly as it revolves causing a ticking sound, So anybody who's looking to get this and encounters a ticking/skipping sound you should look at that grub screw, lucky for me i hand a packet of m3 grub screws which were a little shorter but i still had to lightly file round top of the screw to stop it catching the roller assembly. but all in all a very good extruder (A Bit pricey tho really?)

Well built and strong
I haven't used it much, but it's very simple to setup and feed.
