Amphony Wireless Audio Transmitter Delivers the Sound !!
The Amphony multichannel Wireless Audio Transmitter (model 800) works GREAT !! I used it to hook up my Technics Stereo Receiver model SA - GX190 to two Pioneer CS-77A speakers. Clear and beautiful sounds are coming out of those speakers. New life for some good aged equipment. The speakers are hooked up with the Amphony Amplifiers (model 880), one for each speaker. The real beauty is sound delivery with out wires running across the floor, Thanks to Amphony and HiFi Corner !!

Too good to be true
I purchased this transmitter along with an 800 Receiver and two 880 receivers so I could avoid running speaker wire across two doorways. The concept sounds amazing, but the reality is that the equipment doesn't work as described when you live in an area where there are other wireless networks. When I hooked the equipment up, the speakers had a high-pitched buzz and the music kept dropping out. I consulted the troubleshooting guide and slowly worked my way through all of the recommended fixes. I relocated the equipment, I added surge protectors, I moved my wireless network to a different band (which slowed down my network and caused problems with the rest of my wireless equipment that took some time to resolve). I upgraded all of the speaker wire and re configured my stereo setup. But none of these fixed the problem, so I called Amphony technical support. When I described the situation and all of the actions I had already taken, the tech support guy said it sounds like the equipment is working as expected and that because I live in a high-rise in the middle of a densely populated city, there is just too much interference for this equipment to work. Unfortunately, by the time I got through all of the troubleshooting and equipment configuration, I was already past the 30 day return window. Amphony told me that no customer would want to purchase equipment that had already been in use by another customer for over 30 days. I honestly had to laugh at that. The equipment is cheap plastic like something you would buy at Radio Shack for $15 and the speajker wire they send is low quality. I'm out $300 and doubt I'll be able to sell this equipment on eBay. I'm sure Amphony was just glad to make the sale and it doesn't surprise me they don't want their equipment back. If you live in a remote area, this might work for you.

Great product
Works great, have this thing five feet from my router with no issues. Hidden behind a cabinet and streams flawlessly to speaker behind a wall. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because this operates on the 2.7 channel with no option to go to 5 - or any other channel. Which means that when streaming via bluetooth - you're screwed because the two operate on the same freq and it destroys the audio quality - garbled, broken, freezes etc. When streaming via airplay or HEOS, they work great and have no issues. If you don't need bluetooth, these are a perfect solution. If you rely on bluetooth . . . keep shopping.

Works for a while
When first installed it worked fine, for a while, then both the receivers lost pairing with the transmitter. After trying numerous attempts to re-pair with the transmitter, one receiver indicated it was paired but there is no sound coming from the speaker and the other just won't pair at all. I purchased a new one however the results a the same. I am reluctant to purchase 2 new receivers and accept buying all new equipment as the solution. I contacted Amphony support to see if they could help me out. They seamed more concerned with where I purchased them than helping me. I sent them the Amazon order number but that was not good enough so I sent them the Invoice. That's the last I heard from them. I would recommend you look to an alternative (less expensive) method because their support is non responsive. Or you should be prepared to buy new replacements every so often. Amphony is in the business of selling replacement equipment not supporting the items they sell.
