Q: How far below the feeder does the hoop hang - or is it adjustable somewhat? Thanks.

Yes, there are 4 adjustable straps/hangers with the hoop, so you can make it as far away or near the feeder as you'd like.

Q: I have glass feeders with round metal bases. Would these anchor to the metal?

The hoop is suspended on 4 straps that I attach above the feeder.These straps have metal hooks at the top for attachment. If you wish to mount the hoop lower for some reason,these hooks would possibly not work as well hooked over the feeder base unless you would bend the hooks over the lip of the base.

Q: Birds haven't come to feeder since installation of catcher. Any suggestions?

You can put a little bit of seed on the catcher

Q: Why is yours so expensive? Recently bought one at a bulk store and it was 13.45!

There are a few different sizes. I like the one that’s about 12-13 inches
