Some tips
This was a fun build. The instructions were clear and the quality of materials was very good. For instance, none of my wood laminate had any bubbling and the faux leather band was stitched evenly with the threads already closely snipped. I think a teen with some patience and a lot of care could do this model well. I don't imagine many smaller children completing this project solo because it occasionally requires strong hands to pop the pieces out and squishing them into place. Much of the build was cut so the fits were tight and needed to be forced in (as they should be). The end product however is somewhat fragile by its nature. Everything needed to build was in the kit, with some extras of the more fragile parts.Extra Items - Not necessary but helpful1) Needle nose Pliers, your fingers will get tired after a long session of construction and these help a lot with assembling/ squishing in the many planks on the cylinder2) Hot pot holder - Preferably cork or other thick and study squishy material. Will help with assembling the larger cylinder without damaging the wooden pegsImportant tips: Do NOT use pliers to remove parts from the wooden sheet frame (whatever thats called). You run the risk of peeling off a layer of wood on the part, like I had. Its best to cautiously rock the parts back and forth out of the wooden sheet with care and not rush it or else it can peel a layer of wood. The only times I had some peeling on my parts is because I was either rushing or used pliers to remove the parts from the wood sheet.

ROKR Telescope
Some of the parts are shockingly fragile. The manufacturer anticipates this and sends extra parts. I've never before broken a part just assembling one of these wooden models, but I did with this one. Fortunately the kit tripled the number of parts for the one that broke.I painted the scope and probably will do the stand, too. It turned out rather pretty.

You can build it even if u r a begginer
I'm not going to lie, at first it was really hard build it, but you can get used easily to it. This is my 1st time building smt and I ended it in less than 2 days. Had a really good time and nice results.

Really cool
Got this for my hubby. Really cool, he enjoyed the build and the result. Really sturdy, function and beautiful piece. Will definitely purchase more like this in the future.

Husband built it and was happy.
It came well packaged and was easy enough to assemble while still being a fun challenge.

So many pieces, so much fun!
I've done a few of these puzzles and this one had the most pieces. It includes a few extra of the smaller pieces as they can break if you're not careful. The stand and hook it has for the main piece does feel like it can topple if flicked, but as long as you keep your cat away from trying to use it to find the catnip, you'll be good to go.This was prob the most fun I had assembling something and I will definitely be getting more of this brand's puzzles.

Be prepared to get frustrated and walk away several times!!!
So I bought thus after seeing it on Amazon. It looks cool and didn't seem like it would be as difficult as some of the other Rokr puzzles I've put together. (I've made the Hurdy Gurdy, the Old Time Movie Projector and just recently the Magic cello.) The directions are pretty clear and the illustrations are good too. What frustrated me was trying to fit the many rings around the body of the telescope. Things would pop out on one end constantly while trying to fit the pieces together. Then when I though things were secure, pieces would fall off. I resorted to using craft glue to secure some of the parts together. The frustration level was pretty high. I did NOT enjoy putting this together. I love building things in all materials but this was a disappointment to assemble. This is not one I would recommend for the faint of heart. On the pro side, it is a work telescope and does look cool once assembled. But I won't be recommending this one to anyone soon.
