What color is this ointment? If it's true comfrey leaves, it should be fairly green!

Mine (I've been buying this for years) is a beige color.

99.9% likely that it is from dry leaf because if it were fresh, water would be introduced and the product would need a preservative as well as an emulsifier to not allow the oil and water-based leaf juice to separate.
