It's 2 separate speakers that connects to the crossover that's included.it comes with (2) 6x8 and (2) tweeters.i also bought the jbl 32s that you can add on to it.its a 3inch midrange that has an additional crossover that plugs into the set your inquring about.great sounding speakers,I purchased 2 sets
