Great Little Pickup
For the price, this pickup is great! I built a cheap ukulele kit this winter and slapped one of these in it. No, I don't have the tone control, but the sound I get from this little uke and the cheap pickup is just as good as the Luna ukulele my wife has.

A Great Way to Amplify your Cigar Box Project
I used this as pick-up in my CBG kit project. Comes with zero instructions, and as a rookie builder, I coud have used a helping hand - SOMETHING! But, hey, I got it, installed it, it works fine. I had aganized over how to install- I knew the positioning, but not much else. So many opinions on the web about using a glue gun to lay down a base, then stick on the disc, then bury it in more glue. One guy said "Don't use a glue gune, it makes a mess", and for some reason, I listened to him. I wanted a little insulation under the disc, so I just used masking tape (painter's tape) under the disc, then more tape over it to hold it on. Then used one side of a double sided tape I found in my junk drawer to hold the wires, and made sure that opening and closing the box did not strain the wires or the connections. EASY!!. The only problem: the volume knob did not fit on the volume control gizmo, so I had to use a wooden small knob, also out of my junk drawer. (Still have lots of stuff left in that junk drawer!) But, for the price, a good deal that works ell. Now, I have to learn ow to play an unfretted slide 3 string CBG. That is going to be a BIG DEAL!

This is a good value if you’re making a cigar box instrument
This is a good value if you’re making a cigar box instrument. Great price and comes ready to install with everything included. Peel and stick piezo placed under the bridge and drill and install the prewired jack and volume control in about 10 minutes. Decent tone, like you’d expect for a CB instrument. Does feedback a bit but that is the nature of this type of pickup and somewhat dependent on design of the instrument. If you just want an easy install and a good pickup then buy it. One star off for the tone.

What a fun project !
What a fun project. I have an old Yamaha classical nylon string G-55A guitar from a garage sale years ago for $25.00. The hardest part was to take the plunge and drill the holes. A youtube video said to put the blue tape on before drilling. That was really effective to keep the finish from cracking while drilling. The sound is great. Because i couldn't reach too far into the hole, I put the volume control and jack on the bottom of the lower bout because I knew I could reach those holes from the inside. Most fun I have had for $10 in a while! Next step is to try out effects such as reverb, compression, distortion.

EX-CELL-ENT!!
I'm hooked on piezo pups. Have used them twice now and love them. Crazy inexpensive yet produce a wonderful and full sound. For $9.99 got the piezo, 1/4" jack, and pot. All pre-wired (very nicely I might add). I did change the 1/4" jack just because I wanted a jack/strap button combo, and I replaced the pot knob because I like the 'chicken head' style.Installed on a 70's acoustic guitar. She now sings beautifully through my pedals and amp.All said, it's impossible for me to justify paying $200+ for a high-end pup when I'd put a piezo up against all of them. Give one a try, I suspect you'll be shocked at the incredible sound.

Great little pickup
Took like 20 minutes to install into an acoustic guitar of mine that's already old and beat up and has had the neck reset. Volume is alrightbut you can just turn up the amp. Really great sound that comes out. Doesn't sound like tin out plastic like some pickups can. And for those who had it arrive with a wire that came off the solder, just resolder it. That's what I did. Takes less time than returning it and waiting for a new one to come in. Great product. Highly recommend.

find the sweet spot
I used this pickup on a home-built stand-up bass...sounded great as soon as i found the "sweet spot". it took a little fussing about and trial and error to find the best place for it. i recommend playing around with placement before you take the backing off the tape.otherwise it seems to have good volume and good signal response. picks up all the random sounds (like bumping the bass around) but you get that with any piezo.would recommend this product and company.

Stompbox project.
Got it to make a stompbox that I'm only putting together now, it picks up the sound very well. It came fast and looks well put together. I would recommend it for making a stompbox.

Great for stomp boxes
I don’t normally write reviews for products but this one felt like a must! This is a great bit of kit for making a guitar stomp box - simply drilled a few holes into an old wooden box and stuck this in and had something better for under £10 than what you can buy for £80!
