I know it is meant for lips. However, both my husband and I use our hands a lot, washing them a lot which produces dried up cuticles or cracks at the corner of the nails, especially in colder weather. Rubbing some of this in takes care of that easily. Highly recommended.

I am a product junkie and clearly have way too much faith in higher priced products that propose to have more effective ingredients. I used to use Carmex long ago and liked it so I bought it to see if I still did. It lasts longer than any of the other lip balms I have tried and I like the scent and tingling effect. I'm not as crazy about the vanilla base notes that follow, but it is ok. It does seem to have a healing effect as well. It is not only a great lip balm - it does a great job on my cuticles too. I have one complaint with the company and that is that the jar appears to be larger than it is due to a 1/4" empty space on the base. I was tempted to remove a star for that but I really do like the product and it still lasts a long time. But just make the container smaller Carmex! That trick probably fools no one and is sleazy.

Carmex is a great lip balm/protector. I can't get a "giant jar" from Carmex any more, so I have to rely on the "pocket pots" (I used the "giant jar" to REFILL my "pocket pots". One "giant jar" usually lasted THREE YEARS!).Because the "pocket pots" can be "expensive" when purchased "one-at-a-time", and the multi-packs are generally CHEAPER on a per "pot" basis, it's more economical to get the multi-packs.I ** DO RECOMMEND ** this product.

I've used this product for years and have never been disappointed. At the start of a fever blister or cold sore I apply it and it takes care of it. I also use it to keep my lips moist.

Pack of 3 jars! This is the best stuff for keeping lips soft and protected from dryness and chapping. Have used it for years.

Carmex is an 86 year old classic. It was created by Alfred Woelbing, who started making it in his kitchen back in 1937, and selling it from the individual pharmacies he visited in Wisconsin.Nowadays it’s still sold in the same little jars, although the lid is more colorful. The recipe is also the same, emphasizing lanolin, camphor, and menthol.My lips chap painfully, and not just in the winter. I’ve found that Carmex works best of all the brands I’ve tried, and buy these little jars by the three pack, and carry one of the tubes of Carmex in my pocket.

I had severe chapped lips and nothing was working (even my carmax in a tube!) The tub of carmax finally brought my chapped lips under control!
