Works great when I don't mess it up
Works great but I did have a rough start. I installed this on the road after getting a flat with a regular tube. This tube also went flat after 1/2 a mile. It wasn't the tubes fault, the tire had a cut in it and I should have protected the tube from the cut. Later I patched the tube but I filled it with air before installing back in the tire. That was a mistake, don't do that. This tube expanded so much that the tube split open and was ruined. All my fault. Lessons learned. I bought another new tube and tire and it has been good since. Been on many rides, no issues.

Nice option if you want a faster tube but don’t like the hassle of tubeless for their road bike
So far so good. Nice light weight option. I have only put around 100 miles on them so far, but no complaints. I don’t actually notice a big difference in ride quality except I think they roll a little faster than the old standard butyl tube. I have tubeless too, it’s just a lot of maintenance. This seems like a nice alternative.

Racing
The tubes have been absolutely great. So great I did a review. First they are very light and packable. I am using them on my racing bike because I feared that less expensive options would not have the same quality. After racing and riding a few hundred miles on them I don’t think they head and shoulders above less expensive options but they are still a great product. They retain air so much longer than latex tubes even at higher pressures. I would recommend them but at an equal level of less expensive options. Update: They punctured very easily which caused me to abandon a race. I can no longer recommend these tubes. They are overpriced junk, the current cheap Chinese tubes I am running have lasted much longer.

Pleased with TPU performance with rim-brakes
Used the TPU tubes in a hilly triathlon with rim-braking and was pleased with the performance. Others said that TPU can only be used with disc brakes...this is nonsense!

More puncture resistance and less air loss than butyl tubes.
I run my tires at about 80psi, and these hold air roughly twice as long as the other butyl tubes I've used. Given the time between punctures I'm willing to state that these are probably more puncture-resistant as well. The only punctures I've encountered with these tubes are a furniture staple (and nothing's surviving that), and a puncture so small that it wasn't visible even after I discovered where the air was escaping from. In both instances I did not notice I had a puncture until the following day since the punctures were small and didn't rip at all. Not sure how people are having difficulty installing these. They work the exact same as any other tube and you would have to be incredibly careless to wreck them on installation. My only complaint is the plastic valve stem material. A lot of people put electrical tape over the valve stems when they have carbon wheels to prevent rattling. If they had a rubberized or fiber coating (like modern automotive wheel well inserts) it would eliminate the need to do that and I would give it a 5 star rating.

Light. but they develop pinhole leaks over time.
Installed in my 26 mm wide road bike tires. I found them easier to work with than butyl tubes. They retain air pressure much better than either the butyl or latex tubes I've used. Their ride and performance is great, but one tube (rear wheel) developed a tiny pinhole leak after just a couple rides. I successfully patched the leak with the Pirelli TPU specific patch kit. Then, after another 500 mi or so, the same tube developed another leak in a different place (the patch held fine). The leaks were on the side of the tube in contact with the tire, but I could not find anything in the tire casing that would have punctured the tube. Both leaks were super tiny - I could only find them by dunking the inflated tube in a bucket of water. Both leaks resulted in a complete loss of tire pressure an just a few minutes. Verdict: light, but does not inspire a lot of confidence.

Great tubes
Great tubes — light, effective, hold the pressure as good as butyl ones (maybe even better), puncture resistant, stylish. Not a single puncture for the whole season. I gave two of these as spares to cyclists who got punctures on their tubeless setups. I used Tubolito before and that was a nightmare, they got damaged during installation very easily and also frequently got punctures on the same tyres. I love the look of full black valve too. The only downside I see is as the valve has no threads and fixing nut, it can rattle on some wheels, but a small piece of electrical tape solves the issue (better to put it before the tube installed into the wheel)
