Ease of use.
Very easy to use; no long cooking time. Add balsamic vinegar and small amount of Dijon mustard.

Sometimes they come up a bit dry. They are expensive. Overall though they are a good store cupboard quick snack and mix well with other salad veg.

Original lentil taste with not much seasoning
I have tried many Merchant Gourmet products, this cooked lentil product is as usual comes in good quality, ready to eat, so simple. The lentil tastes almost unseasoned, so it will be good for adding onto salads or as a side on the main dish. It is moist good puy lentil taste. It tastes like chilli bean but smaller and softer. A very versatile, quick-eating and healthy plant protein in a bag.
