This was a 165mm with 650lbs spring.
I bought a Philodo Falcon e-bike which comes with an DNM A06 rear air sprung shock. The thing kept loosing air and you need a commercial compressor to get up to the 150-200psi needed for this shock. Instead I decided to swap it out for a coil over shock, with adjustable bump/rebound and sprint pre-load. Just needed to press out the top bushing on both to swap it over. Works perfect!!

Good for the money
Good, well made product for the price. Used on a modified razor. 200lbs person. Feel pretty good. Dampning for the price is also good.

Hydraulics at this price is a steal!
I bought these to modify and install on my Ecomobl M24PRO electric skateboard. The board has 4 wheel double wishbone suspension and 165MM was the exact length of the factory shocks and springs. I ordered these with the lowest spring rate I could get and sourced 150LB springs that would work with them because the 650lb were way too stiff. I like them so much I bought a set of EXA 290's as a drop in replacement for my Propel X4S. Both boards had hollow shocks from the factory and the ride is incredibly improved with these! The board feels more stable, and being a skateboard, the deck stays flatter over undulating terrain so the rider isn't having to compensate for steering upsets with their feet. Thanks to these characteristics it's not nearly as fatiguing to ride fast over rough terrain and I don't get off with sore feet! I'm not sure what people mean that their rebound adjuster doesn't work, mine makes a huge difference and I leave it as fast as I can in those application. I liked them so much I basically bought them twice, the 290's were a drop in for the Propel which came stock with 260's, from what I can see EXA 290 and 291R like these only differ by the rebound adjustment knob.

So much better
So much better than stock I got the 160 750 lbs and it’s perfect and so easy to install on my ridstar

Simple and effective
Mounted this on a 5 year old Iron Horse 29er that still had the original coil shock with hundreds of miles on it. I’d put an air fork on the bike a couple years ago and that’s been a great upgrade. But I didn’t want to deal with an air shock in back…for the terrain I ride, it’s just not worth all the pedal bob and servicing that come with air. This hits the happy medium. Practically no pedal bob due to a heavier spring, but with the rebound cranked way down, it sucks up a lot of the bumps comfortably and without the pogo stick effect of a basic coil spring. Especially on areas where any kind of tracked vehicle has left washboard terrain in its wake. And it should be pretty much maintenance free beyond cleaning it now and then. I’d make sure to grease the bushings and bolts before install. Came with two standard short 8mm bolts and one longer bolt for mounting to the rear rockers.

Bearly held up my pushup pressure.
Installed it on a electric unicycle. I thought it would at least handle my body weight, 230 pounds. Installed it, test out how much resistant it has, it couldn't even handle me doing my standing pushup pressure on it . . . 650p, I am very disappointed, wish there was a 1500p or at the least 1200p. Edit: the supplier saw my review and they designed a 1500lb version just for me. Great customer service, beyond and above. I would give them a 5 star but I still have to test out the suspension to see if it does the job. The design of my electric unicycle suspension is also flawed, so I'm going to have to redesign my own suspension arm and test this suspension and see how it will work.

5 star product but.....
So the problem is not with the product itself, but I started out ordering two of these in 650lbs configuration, I got 1 650lbs and 1 100lbs in a 650lbs box, so I ordered a replacement, I got a used item which honestly I wouldn't have cared to much but it was damaged, so I ordered another replacement, it too also came used damaged with rusted hardware, so now I've ordered a third replacement hoping to get a new unused item or at least one that was not damaged, but nope came in an Amazon box not a factory box and it's been over compressed and is no longer the correct length, so I have 6 shocks sitting here with only one being what I had expected and all others are previously returned and damaged. But for the shock itself it seems well built, I don't notice much on the dampening effect high vs low but 650 is a little heavy for my application so when properly loaded it probably has more effect, the preload is easily adjusted and all the adjustability is nice, overall I notice a much smoother ride especially on really ruff terrain even with it being a bit firm for my application, but at the end of the day I'm just going to keep a shock that has been damaged by someone else because I'm tired of returning asking for a replacement excetra. I now have 500$ tied up in just simply trying to upgrade 2 shocks. Waiting for returns to clear. Not the headache I wanted or asked for.

Perfect for casual riding
Obviously not a shock for competitive racing. But for casual riding this is a huge improvement over the original shock my bike came with which had just a spring and no damping. When using a cheap “spring only” type shock, the back of the bike goes up and down with each pedal stroke. This wastes an enormous amount of energy and you will notice a slight increase of speed when you change that type out for this unit. Great value for the price.

I got the 150MM one. Works well, but the red adjustment knob for controlling the springback fell off and I can't find a replacement one. My rating would be higher if this simple annoying issue was easier to solve....
