Daron Worldwide Trading Postage Stamp F-4B Phantom II Sundowners Vehicle (1/155 Scale)

It's great to see a die cast of a VF-111 F-4. That "Sundowner" tail flash has always been visually appealing to me. The model has a good "heft" to it, it feels very sturdy. The stand is a nice, no-nonsense affair that gives a pleasing in-flight appearance to the aircraft. Details are surprisingly... detailed, for this scale and price point.I enjoyed this so much that I went on to order several other Daron die casts.

Great model of a F-4B. This model is painted as a F-4B from the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea and Navy Fighter Squadron 111(VF111). The F=4 Phantom was originally built for the U.S Navy but proved to be adaptable and was also used by the U.S Air Force as well as the U.S Marine Corps. The F-4 was used in Vietnam by the U.S Navy and Air Force and credited with a total of 147.5 kills with 107.5 kills by U.S Air Force Phantoms and 40 kills by Navy Phantoms. Even after 60 years the F-4 still continues to serve in multiple air forces around the world.

The aircraft model is really good just that it was missing the engine inlets.

Be careful tho when It’s very hard to get out and when I got it out it flew out of my hand and the engine and fuel tanks broke off

The listing doesn't specifically say that this isn't a real airplane and that it doesn't fly. I am consulting my lawyers about this but I can write a review of the nice model airplane they sent me. Like other postage stamp line planes, it is well made, free of defect and looks great.

Was a bit smaller than what I was expecting. But overall good.
