Looks good, shame about the box
Robot looks good, but was sent without packaging so not only is the box now damaged due to the address sticker not coming off properly, it’s also spoilt the surprise of a Christmas present.

Great entry level toy for toddlers to learn basic programming skills.
This is a pretty clever and easy to use programmable and remote controlled bulldozer. It’s best for younger children and toddlers as opposed to slightly older children as it introduces your child to very basic programming on the simplest and beginners/entry level. I would say children between the ages of 4 and 7 would benefit the greatest from this toy.The bulldozer seems to be reasonably well made and operates on 2.4ghz. When you first turn it on it’s eyes flash and it makes some sound. It’s not rechargeable so you do need a total of 5 AA batteries to power both the remote and bulldozer. These are not supplied so factor in a little additional cost when purchasing. You receive a few plastic orange road signs with it which are fairly robust and are great for placing out when programming your robot to manoeuvre around obstacles. Programming is pretty straightforward and easy to learn. As it’s aimed at younger children it’s basic but does have a few neat tricks such as being able to spin 360 degrees. There is a demo mode which showcases what can be achieved and what the unit is capable to perform. When programming your unit you use the accompanying remote control to activate a series of commands such as forward, right, turn etc. The robot then recreates your pattern when activated. Use the included signs to help your child learn to judge distances and input navigational commands. It works best on wooden or tiled flooring but can be a little wobbly and uneven on thicker carpets. The only real criticism I could find was that the sounds and songs can be a little annoying after a while and there is no option to turn these off. Then again that’s usual with most kids toys these days and something us parents hate but the kids don’t seem to mind. Other than that it’s a cracking little toy bulldozer and priced more than fair for what it does. No complaints here so I would be more than happy to recommend it.

Not Just For Boys
Well it took our grandson who's nine now around half an hour to work out how to set up and programme this Remoking Remote Control Robot. I took nearly that long to work out that it needed batteries. Anyway he was soon designing programmes to route the truck like thing around obstacles ( some are provided) and to take journey's around the house. Overall I think its a great toy to intriduce younger children to programming and simple robotics. Its prettyt well made and robust with both educational and entertainment value for children under say 10 years. I was going to give it five stars but am knocking it down one star because of its description which says its a toys for "boys" frankly in this day and age that kind of marketing is chronically out dated.

Cute size, easy to control
This comes without batteries, you need 5 AAA in total, 3 in the digger, 2 in the remote. It’s quite small and the remote is very small as well but easy for little hands to grasp. The demo mode gives you an idea of the difference things it can do such as spinning and doing wheelies. The music and sound is a little annoying but the kids seem to love it.You can set your own dance/motion routine quite easily and it’s fun to watch it do what you’ve programmed although it’s not that easy to get it to negotiate the cones.Because it’s small it means that younger children can have a go, as it won’t cause any damage unlike larger remote control toys.Would make a nice Christmas or birthday present.Hope you found my review helpful

Smaller than expected
This RC digger is smaller than I thought for the twenty pound price tag ( nat the time of reviewing) but to be honest its quite cool, the remote is ideal for smaller kids to use with very basic button. Using the control which needs 2xAAA batteries you can make the digger go forward and back, do spins and a few little tricks which my kids thought was great, the music is annoying but again my kids liked it, i do wish it had a mute button. The digger itself requires 3xAAA batteries not included but in the set includes a few little traffic cones and a small screwdriver which is perfect to get into all the smaller toys. The coding program is a little difficult for smaller kids but my ten year old nephew sussed it straight away.

Fun toy, quite durable looks cute Don't recommend for anyone below 7/8
This is fun toy, quite durable and moved well even our carpet. It is acrobatic and nippy. It looks cute and the noise output is very Mike that of similar good quality products. Have no issues with performance or overall quality, happy with these.I don't recommend for anyone below 7/8 because the remote, although it works well) is based on two controllers operating I tandem and I think younger kids will find it challenging.

Works well
This is a small digger that works really well, fun to use and in durable. Sadly you need 5 AA batteries for digger and remote, I expected this to be rechargeable. I bought something very similar for Christmas present last year around this price which at time of review £19.99, the digger was rechargeable but batteries neede for remote. Apart from the heavy use of batteries this little digger moves well and perfect for small hands to manoeuvre.
