Lithium Neato Replacement Battery for Neato Botvac 70e, 75, 80, 85 and Botvac D75, D80, D85 Series, 7200mAh (Side Brush and HEPA Filter Included) - Botvac Connected Series not Supported

Used now for two years still working good

It's a direct drop in replacement for the original NiCad battery of 3600mAh. My Botvac D, Scotty, is running around the house like he's a new bot. Not only is he audibly more peppy but now he can finish my house in one round instead of what he used to do of completing 1.3hrs, charging, and then going back for the remaining .2hrs. Wonderful purchase.Pay attention to the instructions which tell you to turn the Bot off when replacing. While I didn't see why at first I didn't follow that and my Bot didn't fully charge the battery. After following the instructions all was well.** Update ** Here it is long after my initial purchase and it's still going strong. I found out recently the charging logic inside the Botvac wants to slowly, over time, shorten the charging cycles even if the Li-Ion battery does not need this. This is bizarre as I would expect it to do it based on available voltage while the Botvac is running. Well my one cleaning per one charge degraded without my noticing until recently. After I scratched my head and thought, "This isn't right. Li-Ions don't do that" I did the Neato Botvac's "New Battery" routine and my Botvac with the Li-Ion battery is back to cleaning the house in one shot again. Amazing and still the best purchase since buying my D Series.

This was my fourth battery for my botvac 85. All the ones before were the neato standard batteries.The last one only lasted about three months so I was ready to try something else.Seems like every time the battery has problems it's a bit different with the symptoms. This time the bot vac would keep turning right and say the fall sensor was stuck.This battery started right up.I did have to charge it, afterwards I vacuumed most of my house that night. I still only got about 90 mins of runtime with each charge, but it did run strong while it was running. Hopefully this battery will last a while. The filter and the brush are a nice plus.Update.. Battery still working much better than standard batteries. Except the one place I have noticed is my master bedroom is on it's own level so I usually just put him in the room, and I tend to do the room twice. Once with rugs down and once with rugs up, to get dirt under them. With this battery once he stops he has to charge again. He always says battery to low. Before I could clean 3 to four times. But over all on the rest of the house he cleans faster and better.

At first great. Then started needing more and more frequent returns to base to charge. Now it won't even charge. $90 plus tax bucks down the drain. Thankfully, I saved the original battery.UPDATE: Okay, battery is working great again. Finally gave in and called Customer Service, eventually leaving a message and saying that I had a question about a product so they would call me back, thinking I was a potential new customer. You don't get a person, just an answering machine every time I tried to call Customer Service. In addition, I sent an email saying I had an issue with a bettery I bought; no response to that either. So just say you have a product question; they called me back on that one almost immediately..The guy quickly diagnosed the problem; reset the battery by holding down the home button until it restarted and it worked. So, in summary, I am updating my review from one to four stars, deducting one for non-responsive customer service for existing customers and former purchases.

This was a great investment. It has provided new life into our Neato Botvac (Rosie). We had replaced the original battery with one like it, and it didn't last very long at all. Rosie was constantly recharging and had no power. Finally quit charging, like the first one. With the lithium battery, Rosie can now vacuum our entire house on one charge and has much more power. Charges very well on the original charger, just as advertised. It cost a lot more, but it's worth it. I highly recommend it. It is the only battery I will buy, if I ever need a replacement again..February 27, 2021 Update : My battery lasted 3-1/2 years! am purchasing another one now. I have seen lower priced lithium batteries. The main complaint I see on them is that the battery goes dead and the vac can't return to the base for a recharge. Using this battery, my vac has always returned to the base when the battery needs to be recharged. Not sure what the difference is. That is an important feature that I am not willing to give up to save a little money.

I have a pretty old Botvac D80, I had already gone through 3 replacement NiCad batteries and was tired of my poor Rosie dying 3/4 of the way through cleaning the downstairs areas. Despite some sketchy reviews I decided to go with this replacement set. The new battery does fit in much snugger than the old ones but I was amazed at the difference in capacity, Rosie now finishes the entire downstairs each and every time! The included filter and brush were a nice touch as well!

So far I have to say that the battery is acting like the regular one it replaced (well, when that one was new). I'm not seeing any additional life really. It takes about a charge and half to do my house and that's been typical of the previous batteries as well. I'm hopeful that it will last longer than the previous batteries which have all gone "press the off button down" after 6 to 8 months. To me it's worth a shot. No issues at all with installation or charging. The free filter is great too.

I purchased Netty Dec 2017. D80 series. The original battery started causing her to act up. She missed cleanings, didnt last long, got stuck ect.. started saying open bin and push down on button over and over. I finally started trouble shooting and seems the battery had failed, mind you she went off 7 days a week cleaning 2000sq feet. Pets!. New battery came charged pretty fast ran 2 hours cleaned entire house ,emptied bin 2xs. So far so good. Only got stuck 2xs phone charger on floor and she has so much power she drove into the pet liner lol looked like a flopping fish. She moves my chairs now . Ill Ill update later. I sure hope this battery lasts longer than 6 months.
