I kept messing with it and eventually found that when I moved the valve, air was coming out. Turned out it was split round the base. I started looking for replacement rubber valves then I found these. Everyone knows that motorcycle tire valves are a pain to get to, even the rubber ones. These are compact, well made and protrude at about 80 degrees to give really easy access. They're low profile and against my black rim, they're almost invisible. I also like that they're not rubber. They seem like a much more durable fitting. There are tools for replacing a rubber valve without taking the tire off but these aren't practical on a bike tire, so given that the tire has to come off (well, one side at least) then these are easier to install. ## Features - Well Made: Made of premium CNC aluminum with top quality rubber seals.
