Products SP520 Premium Controlled Release Insect Repellent Lotion, 4-Ounce

I found this product from a TikTok recommendation and almost didn’t buy it because I usually only use spray repellents. I was very skeptical about a cream. I am officially eating my words. When I tell you this is the best insect repellent I have ever used, I am not exaggerating. You do not need a lot at all. It is not a lotion. A tiny amount goes a long way. I rubbed a small dab between my hands and applied it to my arms and legs and that was it. No bites. None. I was basically invisible to mosquitoes. It feels secure without being greasy, heavy, or overwhelming, and the controlled-release formula clearly does its job. This is now my go-to repellent and I will absolutely be repurchasing. Final note because it matters: you truly only need the tiniest amount. Rub it on your hands first, then apply to skin, and you are good to go. Definitely recommend.

As the state bird for my beautiful state is the mosquito, I'm all in when it comes to a decent mosquito repellent - and this one doesn't disappoint. I've also used the Off brand lotion, it's also good. But I lucked out being able to get this brand at a much reduced price. It's very effective, and I much prefer lotions to sprays. Why on earth don't more companies make mosquito/insect repellent lotion? I can't even find any in the stores, and trust me, I've looked. There is also little to no scent to this, no sticky residue - an added bonus. I'd also like to give yet another shout-out to the mosquito repellent wristbands by Cliganic, they're an excellent product. Often I just wear one of these, unless it's dusk when the mosquitoes are having a warplane swarming contest. Anyway, this lotion is a good product and I will definitely purchase more.

The label of this says odorless, which it is not. But regardless it works very well. I like that it is a lotion so I can be sure to get it all over my toddler's arms and legs and face without spraying her. I use a spray on her jacket and clothes though. While wearing this repellent I have not noticed a single bite, even in the most miserable of mosquito conditions.
