Magnetic Back and Shoulder Support

I could not believe the instant relief I experienced upon using this back/shoulder support!I suffered a neck/shoulder injury in an accident some years back and have had many unproductive days and sleepless nights due to sickening pain and sensation in my shoulder area.This has also greatly affected my posture.I had never been recommended a support by the medical community.I have tried drugs,acupuncture,chiropractic and physical therapy.Drugs have been ineffectualand I was unable to tolerate the more physical therapies due to discomfort.In the 2 or so weeks since I have been using this support, I have experienced an unexpected amount of relief. While not a miracle cure,I am more mobile,have much better posture,am starting to get more rest and have been able to resume exercise to strengthen neck/shoulder/back muscles.Best of all,I do not spend nearly every waking moment thinking about my pain.The only draw back I found is that it can be a bit itchy.This can be worked around by being careful how it is adjusted and wearing something light underneath as has been stated by other reviewers.The benefits far outweigh this issue.I also found this item to be well constructed,Excellent value!!!

Terrible, I would return it but it would cost too much in shipping DON"T BUY. Bad material, very stiff and the shoulder part is TINY, I mean really tiny, I am a 34A and I wear an XS everything and it is small. The around the chest part is HUGE like for a 50 inch around person, no way in hell this would fit a small or a large person. The material is scratchy and horribly uncomfortable if you can even get it on. I bought 3 different kinds to try them and the follwing was the best one I found, very comfortable works great, but will only fit a very small person as well: Vktech Lady Chest Support Belt Band Posture Corrector Brace Body Sculpting.

I will have to say after making some simple modifications to this brace, the brace works fantastic. I gave it 4 stars because these modifications should have been part of the design to begin with.Here is what I had to do.1st I put on the brace and had another person pull the straps in the back by shoulder blades tight enough to the point that I personally felt was pulling my shoulders back into proper position comfortably. Then the other person marked the straps with a magic marker. This marking was to determine how much strap to cut off to tighten it. In my case I had to remove a total of 4 inches from the strap on both shoulders. I'm 6 foot 1 and 185lbs and I ordered the large brace. "obviously way too big"Then we cut the 4 inches off the right shoulder side strap and stitched it by hand back together using hiking thread which is thicker then regular thread and made of nylon. 40lb test. "will never break"then we put the brace back on and repeated these steps for the other shoulder strap. Marked, cut, then restitched back together.Finally, we took some moleskin "soft rag material" and wrapped a piece of it around the underpart of the armpit strap and stitched it around. Not a permanent fixture spot.. rather we left it loose so it could slide up and down on the strap so it could be adjusted to the exact spot in the armpit to provide the best comfort.After doing this, the shoulder / back brace really worked well in keeping shoulders back and posture good. It does not support the spine in an erect postion however but it help keep the shoulders back.After 2 days of wearing it all day at work "i sit at a desk a lot but also repair computers and are moving around a lot" i noticed some muscle soreness in my neck and shoulders. It was forcing weak muscles that are responsible during proper posture to strengthen which was tiring them out. After years of bad posture those muscles must have gotten lazy. My hope is that after several months of use, my posture should be better on it's own when not wearing the brace.I have great flexibility in this brace too, i wear it over a t-shirt and under my main shirt and nobody notices I'm wearing it. my back cracks a lot less when arching backward when wearing this brace. Without the brace I'm normally arching back to straighten and cracking multiple vertebrates all day long.It's relief the 2nd you put it on.

I've been wearing this support for about an hour now and my back feels great! Of course, I did have some issues putting in on (broad shoulders) and a small portion tore (can be sewn back together) but it's a great item for the cost! I have noticed that it does pinch and dig a little around the underarms, but it's only a minor annoyance to deal with overall. If you have the money to get a more comfortable support, go for it! But if you're on a budget (like me), I'd highly recommend this!

It says in the description that it fits a 30-37.5" chest. I measure 31" right under the chest where the straps fit around your body, and it doesn't even come close to fitting. The straps are way too big! I would have to be at least 41" for me to be able to use the Velcro. At least I know how to sew, so I can add Velcro to make this fit, or I can just tie the straps while I'm around the house but the description is very misleading. The straps that go around the shoulders are very thin and dig into your skin, even with a shirt on, and make this very uncomfortable to wear after 10 minutes. I will probably sew on some padding to make this bearable. It does make it easier to sit up straight when you are wearing it, but I can only stand it for a few minutes at a time and right now I'm just not using the chest strap.

I bought this product, hoping it would help my poor posture I'm trying to correct. It came, and the product was so big on me, that the velcro strap didn't even velcro shut around me because it extended beyond where there was velcro. I am a 5"2" tall, 110 lb. woman. So, a big word of caution. If you are a small adult, this product will not work for you. I had to pay shipping costs to mail it back. I sent it back more than three weeks ago, and still have not been credited my money back. Maybe this product works great on more average sized people, but not for small people. One size does not fit all.
