Augason Farms Honey Cornbread Muffin Mix 3 lbs 15 oz No. 10 Can

The only things I didn't like were opening that #10-sized can, and that it required 2 cups of the powder to make a 6X10 pan of cornbread ( I dislike muffin cups). It tasted great, though, and didn't crumble easily. Next time I'll stir in some honey & a can of creamed corn and see how it turns out.

Holy COW!!! I am not kidding, this is delicious. I just made a pan of these, and honestly I can say I have never tasted corn bread this good. It did not need butter or honey. It seems they grind the corn finer than other mixes. I bought four cans, I’ll buy four more. If we have to lives on this a squirrel meat, we’ll be just fine.

We ordered this for emergencies but wanted to try it out before we ordered more (they were on sale). Well lets just say that I keep ordering it but it never goes into our emergency pile.. The best for ant occasion.

I love having a quick bread (no yeast to try and keep up to date in longterm storage), and cornbread along with beans makes a complete protein. Great addition to long term emergency food storage.

Thought I'd give it a try.... dumped it all in a 64 oz. mason jar and vacuum sealed it. Now it's ready for whenever I want to make a small batch of muffins... like THREE! And now I don't have more muffins than I want or need.

This made good corn bread when I deluded it with corn meal ,yeast or baking soda and baking powder, half and half muffin mix and corn meal, you can add sugar, I don't like my cornbread to sweet. They put that horrible butter powder in it, that's why it tastes so stale.
