It is very well-made and the design is attracrive. The little "kickstand" in the back is easy to pull down and is stable. There is also a built -in magnet on the back if one might want to attach it some time to a metal surface (like a file cabinet, maybe?) instead of just having it stand on a counter or table. The buttons are easty to use and the alarm sound is just right - not too loud and jarring but loud enough to hear from an adjacent room. I actually always use mine just to time my PT/OT exercises so I just keep it in front of me on the table. Yesterday I actually took it to me PT/OT yesterday just to let them see what good quality it was because the little plastic Walmartish ones they use there are def inferior to this one even though they do get the job done. Was a bit pricy at about $17.00 but I think it will last a long iome (probably longer than I will - lol!)
