Very cheaply made, clip broke on one the first time installing. Followed all instructions plus I have used other wire connectors in the past and never had issues like this. I will not buy this item again

Remember Adaptaplugs? Arguably one of Radio Shack's best products: Pick your power supply, pick the tip you need, and you're back in business! While you can still get them at their website (and here on Amazon), they're still a tad pricey. What if you already have the power supply and connector you need, just not on the same cord? Enter these connectors. If you're willing to do a little work, you can make your own set of plugs to work with whatever you need. In my case, I have a nice 12V 8A power supply I use for testing, and these connectors let me create a set of plugs I can use on various devices - I no longer have to look for a power supply with the right connector and enough juice.

Neat option for making a quick reversible connection.I will say I wish they were waterproof, but they are clearly not.Worked for what I needed.

I did strip and double up the 22ga wire and it locked firmly. I'll use these for other applications like 3d printer, etc.Like a lot of things on AMZ lately, the instructions are more harmful than useful. Just be prepared to try a few of these, they ARE reusable (if you're competent) and will make a good connection WITHIN THEIR SPECS.UPDATE:These work well for replacing garage door sensors where they buried the wire in the walls. they make a neat, secure connection. All of these that are in use work as I'd hoped and now I'm ordering more.

I tried three different connectors on the small gauge wire they were advertised as compatible for use. I cut the wires back each time. They would not make electrical contact and the wires easily pulled out of the connector. I cannot recommend them.
