Q: Are these textured or smooth? Can they be used for vinyl decals instead of sublimation?

These are smooth tumblers.I haven’t tried to put vinyl on them because they’re sublimation tumblers. You could put vinyl on things that are a lot cheaper than things made specifically for sublimation.

Q: What is the shrink-wrap used for?

It goes over your sublimation paper to make sure it’s held tightly when pressing. After you tape your paper to the cup, you put the wrap on and use a heat gun to shrink in onto the cup. After your cup is pressed, you take the wrap along with the paper off.

Q: Are these dishwasher safe since they’re sublimation?

yes, but over time they can fade, as with anything you put in the dishwasher
