This is one of the absolute best books I have purchased for my use as a clinical social worker. It has proven to be an invaluable resource. The books guides you through the major DSM disorders and gives you EBP treatment interventions, and provides thorough and exhaustive references to help guide the clinician needing more information.

As helpful as my Professor said it would be!
My professor thinks this book is essential for our libraries. The examples of what goes on in session, and the forms help the novice therapist or future therapist like me. My only wish is that the DSM 5 was referenced throughout. Some chapters have not yet been updated.

Barlow is always good.
I first encountered Barlow's work in grad school. I prepurchased this edition because I knew it would be good! I've read that it takes 17 years for researched effective interventions to become mainstream.....I'd like to be a part of lowering that average.What I like the most about this is the up to date researched effective intervention methods.....

Worth the price!
Arrived in perfect condition and has been extremely useful already towards my studies as I am beginning graduate school. I have also been able to utilize this text in my internship as well, when I have been unsure of how to move forward in creating treatment plans for my clients. Definitely worth the price!
