Aurora AU1210MA Professional Grade High Security 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper/CD and Credit Card/ 60 Minutes Continuous Run Time Shredder

Unfortunately i am so used to products advertised on the international amazon sites having 110-240 auto switching power supply. I didn’t expect that Amazon would advertise, take payment and ship a product that is INCOMPATIBLE in the country whose amazon site i was shopping (UAE). And upon arrival i read the manual which says nothing about voltage limits. But upon receipt after reading the manual thoroughly I plugged the shredder in and POP BOOM sizzle - thats the end of my shredder. $200 plus wasted in 2 seconds. Not happy!!!!

Producto de calidad industrial con gran capacidad para triturar documentos, dvd/cds y tarjetas de credito en cuadritos muy pequeños. Bota un poco de residuo de papel y si hace un poco de ruido, pero vale la pena por el uso continuo de casi una hora que permite.

This Aurora Paper shredder is amazing it grindes up just about anything from paper, light cardboard, credit cards, dvd,cd into the littlest cross-cuts peaces mico cut i have ever seen, it is so quiet when running the durability, size, weight and power is fantastic a long with the casters make it easy to roll around. The only Con I have I wish the slot was a little wider like my old one was but still it works fine when you get use to it. I would recomend this to any one looking for a sherdder. It takes 12 sheets at a time if needed. sure there are bigger and better if you need a more powerfull but at this cost i found it to be just right i hope this helps others wanting to buy. it came packaged great with no damage to anything. you don't need to use the casters but i did making it easyer to pull from out behind the counter when i need to use it.

I bought this shredder for use in a small office. We're required to keep records for seven years, so once a year there's a large pile of eight-year-old records to be shredded. Previous low-cost shredders over-heated after ten minutes and needed long cool-down periods. I decided it was time to pay more to get a shredder that would work longer. The Aurora AU1210MA was rated for 60 minutes' continuous use, and the price was acceptable. When the machine arrived, I wanted to see if the 60 minutes was for real, so I sat down with the shredder and a pile of records. 3 hours and 18 minutes later, the shredder was still going, but I'd had enough, so I congratulated the shredder on its victory and went home for supper. :-) The machine isn't too loud and runs smoothly. It ate file folders, staples and a paper clip without any trouble. I *did* find that I needed to empty the bin every15-20 minutes, and bits of electrocharged paper tended to escape as I transferred the contents of the bin to a large garbage bag. This is a minor issue, however. I'm really pleased with this shredder!

We purchased this shredder because we needed one that does not heat up in such a short time. We really love this shredder. It shreds multiple papers and IT IS VERY QUIET. As a matter of fact, I shredded documents while my husband was asleep and it did not wake him up. Also it has a drawer bin so it is very easy to throw away the shredded papers. Our old one was difficult because we had to lift the top part to get to the shredded paper and it was such a hassle. This one is great because we just pull the drawer. We really love this and so glad we chose the right shredder for us. Love love love.

El precio es algo elevado respecto de otras marcas, pero lo justifica su desempeño, para mí ha sido la mejor opción, ya tuve en casa otra de otra marca y más pequeña y la verdad era un fastidio cada 10 minutos tener que frenar la destrucción de papeles para esperar que se enfriara. Con este equipo logro terminar más rápido sin tener que esperar. Satisfecho con mi comprar.
