The gel pack feels good on my foot. It is not hard like the ice pack I had been using. It is pliable and the cloth covering is very soft. I would purchase it again.

Doesn’t hold heat or cold as long as previously purchased ones. Easy to clean, good quality. Good size for kiddos

I bought this to use only as a hot compress. I like that one side is covered so I can use that side against my skin (sometimes it’s a little too warm at first and I need a paper towel). I like that I can see the beads. I had one of these years ago, but someone put it in the freezer so I didn’t want to use it in the microwave. I was afraid the temp difference would cause it to burst or leak. Maybe I’m wrong. But a few people did note this possibility. If you want both features, maybe think about getting two and using one exclusively as cold, and one as hot.
