It has a rich flavor and a hint of sweetness that makes it easier to use far less cream and sugar (I liked my coffee very light and very sweet but that’s not healthy) I have this stuff to thank for helping me ditch a several pot a day habit . Just gradually replace your coffee with this over time as the bag describes, and tapering off the caffeine will make it easier to ditch it completely. This is even great as a decaf option for the evening , even if you’re not quitting caffeine or cutting down . My fiancé drinks it too and he loves caffeine and coffee and hardly notices the difference . And best of all , it has inulin from chicory root, which is a great aid for healthy digestion as well . This and probiotics help my ibs a bit (along with some yogurt and kombucha daily) I’ve tried making my own chicory blend before and mixing in dates , but the chicory I got Was dark roast and way too bitter . It was also a process trying to save a little money and spending time blending everything myself . This stuff is great and as easy as making a regular pot to coffee. And basically fool proof .
