This fermentation system is easy to use and works well. I have made 2 batches of sauerkraut with it and purchased another set for my son who is also interested in making his own sauerkraut. Takes the guesswork out of worrying if you are getting your sauerkraut made without contaminants getting in an spoiling your product. I bought the wide mouth variety to make it easier to put the cabbage into the jars. Highly recommend this product.

I ordered a full kit and one of the glass weights had a problem. I emailed Fermentology and quickly got a response. They very quickly replaced the Kit, although I was just expecting the weight to be replaced, they replaced the whole thing.Then the use. While I was waiting for the weight. I tried out the rest and did two batches of Sauerkraut. One with the Mason tops Pickle pipe and one with Fermentology lid with pump. The one with the Mason tops Pickle pipe, I had to throw out due to mold. The Fermentology lid were it was pumped, once about every two days (from the CO2 build up), came out without a problem and a PH of 3.8.. The Pickle lid Never dropped below 4.5 PH.. I'm very happy with the Style of weight, lid and pump of the Fermentology's kit.

The lids are well made & very functional food grade plastic with silicone seals. Very good product …

No issues. Well made. Seals good. Even insulation installed in the pressure heads to stop them rattling around during shipment.
