Often amazon sellers are too big & pay for a 3rd party to handle the customer service. Thank you so much for great service! Original: It was beautiful but unfortunately when our daughter plugged it in it the bulb inside exploded! Not the entire thing just the bulb. very disappointing for her as she was excited to see it working. we will be returning. not sure it maybe this type of thing should not be shipped? maybe it was damaged during transport? hopefully the next one works well.

Lava lamp worked real good, nice colors, warmed up real quick.

It was GREAT when I first bought it (in January). But for the last 6 months, the waxy material (lava) hasn't moved at all. I've tried shaking the glass, unplugging it for days, and retrying it. Replaced the light bulb. Nothing works. It's dead. I'm hoping the legendary customer service these folks are reputed to have kicks in, because I'm feeling duped. My last lamp was a brand-name Lava Lamp, and it lasted me well over a decade before the bulb holder broke. I was hoping the Jambo would be a great replacement. I have extra bulbs, but no movement when the thing is on and plugged in. See the photo. Sad. UPDATE: 12/29/25, Jambo sent me a replacement free of charge, and that unit is working beautifully. I also purchased another one because I like the product and appreciate their strong customer support. Companies like that should be rewarded.

I've only had it for a couple hours but so far I love this! It's exactly what I was looking for. Other glimmer lava lamps have such small sparkles. These are nice and large and I can see them from across the room. Since it's across the room on the dresser I bought a remote switch so that I can turn it on from my bed in the morning. I also found replacement bulbs at Walmart in case I need them. Will edit if anything changes. Edit: the only negative is that it takes a half hour for it to warm up enough to get all the Stars moving. Or I can give it a slight wiggle and that gets them going right away. I was hoping it would be hands off.

Just like the ‘80’s! Great value and easy to use, just flick the switch. Works great and heats up fast. The color is beautiful.

I bought this as a white elephant gift for my Work Christmas exchange. And I’m honestly gonna say I’m jealous that I gave it away. She has it sitting at her desk and it is so beautiful. It honestly the perfect size just to be able to have there as a decoration and admire its beauty.

Great brightness and clarity, very nice. Unfortunately arrived with the bulb not working.

Is it wrong that I bought four in different colors? No, it’s not wrong. It’s very very right. Set up on their own shelf with tchotchkes, everyone who comes into our place raves about them. More is definitely better. We don’t have kids so that’s a safer plus with these. If we had a small human running around, I think I would hold off. These do get a bit warm and let’s be honest, glass. That said a glass of wine and a few minutes to stare at a lava lamp are all I need to chill out for a while. Functional art. The best.
