Q: If I use this on my stainless steel sink, will it damage the adjacent formica?

I don't know about damage to formica - it is a metal polish and a very good probably stronger than your stainless steel cleaner.

Q: Will this work on Sterling Silver Jewelry - especially Sterling that has intricate scroll work and tiny crevices? Would a soft toothbrush work?

From Wenol website:S I L V E R&G O L DSoft metals can be damaged without proper care.We recommend using only very soft polishingcloths on these materials and onlyafterdetermining that the material is not silver or goldplating.Silver or gold plating requires extreme care and very gentle touch or the rubbing could remove aportion of the plated surface.RubWENOLinto the cloth before polishing and applygently.NEVER use paper towels to polish silver and gold.Silver should be washed in warm, soapy waterafter polishing and your silver should be sparkling for months

Does not help with pitting. But it will clean brass. If this lamp is an antique and you are concerned about not wanting to cause unintentional damage with polishing it. I would seek the advice of an antique dealer before using Wenol polish on it.
