Sadly didnt work for what i needed.

This is not for splitting a network connection... Unless you want to only do one computer at a time. Do not purchase this thinking it will be able to split your network connection to 2 other devices that are both on at the same time. It won't work. That aside, this is perfect for splitting the physical cable for use with a POTS line that was run over cat5 cabling. It's robust and very well made. If I need a cable like this ever again I will definitely be buying it from here.

This did NOT work in my configuration. One PC and one Mac mini, sharing one gig ethernet connection. I would ONLY have one device powered up at a time. With the splitter in place, I was NOT able to get the connection to seamlessly switch between devices, the only way to get it to work was to disconnect one of the patch cables, which defeats the purpose of having this splitter. Maybe this might work in SOME applications, but it failed completely in mine...

Works for its intended purpose - I have two computers, router only had one port. Both computers get good internet. It was cheap, works great.

Didn't work for my project. Product is good for what ever you could use it for.

These splitters are nice and worked good for what I needed them for.

Randomly loses connection for no reason.

Good style choice but the male side does not stay locked in well if under tension such as the weight of hanging cords. If they fix how well it should lock in it would be great.

When we plug in the second ethernet cable, it doesn't work. Even it disconnects the first one too
