Once heat pack is activated, how do you get it back to original gel form?

I gave to my kids but my recollection is that you boil them and they return to gel

How long does the warmth last for the extra wide back pack?

Not totally sure but I think maybe 30 min

Find the metal disk and bend(it doesn't always "click") sometimes the disc is a little hard to "catch" but mine have always eventually activated .
