Buyers be aware the wooden parts are staples together and the staplers are exposed outside. It’s a cheap way to put the wooden parts together and bad in quality.Years ago we purchased something look very similar from a local pet shop and the gate was beautifully made - light weight perfect for our chihuahua puppy and durable. We thought this one will be the same since it has the same design from the photos.We were wrong. The gate is sorta usable - the metal L shape parts are laughable. The ad says it stabilizes the gate but it also means you cannot re- position the gate in the way you’d like. It has to be in zig zag shape. Completely defeats the purpose.The worst thing is that he parts are badly put together with staples showing on the exterior connecting joints. If your puppy likes to bite and chew on wooden furniture, I would not recommend this gate. Imagine they inhale exposed staplers

I ordered this gate to replace one I had but returned because of wrong size. I continued with the gate I had but it literally falls apart. I have two small Yorkies do I can’t blame it on them. The wood slats come out from the base and they are not easy to get back in to glue. I did find it was pretty easy to maneuver around to make different sizes. But I would keep looking because it falls apart section by section. I was very disappointed.

Wood is untreated and not very durable. If I left dog alone with it, he would eat his way through but not before choking on pieces of wood!

It was easy to put together, and the wood looks solid. There were no instructions, but it’s all pretty intuitive. The metal corner pieces can be adjusted based on the angle the panels are placed, which is nice. I bought it because it folds up and doesn’t have to be mounted on the woodwork. The feet are loose, so I may have to use some something to pad the openings make the feet snug between the rungs, so they won’t wobble. We haven’t left the dog alone yet, so time will tell if the little booger knocks over this gate. Fingers crossed!

Exactly what I was looking for to keep my new puppy out of my dining room. I have large wall openings, this larger size gate was perfect and it’s hinged. It was easy to walk in and out of or step over. Its not for large dogs they would be able to jump over it but perfect for my small dog.
