Worth Publishers Psychology in Modules

The book is an excellent overview, and it is engagingly written. There's a subtle sense of humor here, and it makes reading assignments a lot more enjoyable than they usually are. Also, there are chapter summaries in the back of the book, which I didn't notice until the end of the semester--maybe not great as a substitution for actually doing the reading (and believe me, I've tried), but a nice supplement and useful for studying.

The book was in great condition and had shown up in a very timely manner. It was at a great price and I would recommend it to anyone who does not want to pay the full price of a new book and are only taking a class over the summer.

I have taken 6 psychology classes but for the college I am at they wanted me to take this specific one. The book is easy to read, has great charts and examples. Very beginning information for anyone interested in Psychology. Make sure you need this actual book and not the workbook!

I am renting this book for an Intro to Psychology course. It said it was used when I receieved it and it was in great condition, not brand new but really good. I enjoy the module length vs full chapters. I really like and appreciate the renting option that amazon provides. It helps poor college students to have more money for food ;)

I have used Amazon to buy all of my text books for the semester. I got a pretty decent deal. HOWEVER, they do not advertise the product effectively. I bought this anticipating that I'd be getting the TEXTBOOK, not the study guide, only to look at my orders page and see that it's the STUDY GUIDE. They advertise the textbook as being in hardcover and paperback. They don't tell you that the paper back is actually the study guide. I ended up buying the book from my school's bookstore in the end, which is alright. But next time, they should SAY it's the study guide in the title of the product, not the textbook. I didn't notice until it was too late and I can't cancel my order. Just as well. I'm going to change to psychology as a major, so this will probably be really helpful. Just PAY ATTENTION. I looked at many different books and many different methods. I ended up choosing amazon because it was cheaper and I actually saved about 40$, when you add in the cost of the book from the book store. That's enough to fill my car up completely!
