Cartridge Filter 4 Pack - Hayward CX870RE Quad Pack C-7487-4

These filters were too tight a fit in their Hayward canister. I ended up cracking the top piece on the plastic that holds the four pieces together. While they say Hayward I am wondering if they have changed manufactures since I have also used generic and those worked better. I will not be reordering these and will move back to the generic model - too bad.

So far so good with these cartridges. Pump head pressure remains low, and the water is nice and clear. As long as their service lives are good, I'll continue to buy them, because they're far less expensive than those from other vendors.

Great price they did not fit to small, my son and I modified them and now they work. It would be great if they had fit like they said instead of us having to do all the other work.

Bought these 4 filters in 2015 as they seemed like a bargain. Unfortunately, they only lasted a year - versus several years for my previous set.

Fits my Hayward cartridge filter and the price is unbeatable anywhere. Plus, delivery was quick!

I bought a 4 PACK - Hayward CX870RE Quad Pack Cartridges. However, the product that came was generic and not made by Hayward. I began having problems with my Hayward pump cavitating and not being able to self prime. I cycle through several sets of filters throughout the summer and it wasn't till I used these filters a second time did I realize they were the problem. The company was unsympathetic since my complaint was outside the 30 day period. Don't use these filters or you'll wind up burning up your pump!
