Simple and effective means to change out the Thule lock cylinders (or Halfords Advanced roof boxes - which seem to be made by Thule!). The key is simple but works well, and isn’t an item I’d expect many people would use more than a one or two off. Simply use the actual key in the lock to turn 45 degrees from the locked position, replace the key with this master key and jiggle a bit and the cylinder will release, replace with the new cylinder in reverse steps.

Does what it’s supposed to but is a bit expensive given it is a blank key, otherwise it would have been five stars.

Tried on my original no27 and a new set of no98 locks, and this key worked on neither set. The pins don’t all set properly in the barrel with the key fully inserted.

Works well.

Bought the key thinking it worked instead of my lost key, it doesn't. May do a job very well just not this one. Maybe it's my interpretation of the description.
