Solid case. Love the construction and feel. It’s a bit slick but not slippery. Fit the phone like a glove! Professional color and, as a leather case, well worth what I paid. My last leather case lasted a few years. We’ll see how long this one holds out.

After opening the package containing the iPhone 12 Wilken phone case I immediately noticed a very caustic odor (it was not a “new car” odor, which I could have tolerated) that caused burning in my eyes & sinuses - I’m very sensitive to such odors. It is such a beautiful & well crafted case — fits my 12 perfectly & have no issues with buttons response — that I didn’t want to return it before trying to rid it of the odor. I tried letting it sit in my cool garage for 8 hours but the odor didn’t lessen at all. I decided then to contact Wilken for their advice on removing the odor as I know that different leather processing methods for different products sometimes require different methods of removing odors. The Wilken rep was very quick to respond & suggested that I wrap the case in newspaper & baking soda & let it sit overnight. He also advised that I could use a damp cloth to help remove any residue of baking soda from the case that would not dust off, especially inside the case. I use baking soda often on new sheets & clothing when washing them the first time & it always removes the chemical odors, so this seemed worth trying. This morning I unwrapped the phone case & was pleasantly surprised — no caustic odor, just a mild but pleasant & non-irritating “new car” smell, which I expect will itself dissipate over time and use as the patina develops. I’m a long-time user of Apple’s leather cases, but starting in 2012 they began using inferior leather that does not wear well for even a few months. I’m so glad I found the Wilken cases for both my iPhone 12. The leather is soft & supple and crafted beautifully. I plan on keeping this phone for at least 4-5 years & I’m sure the Wilken case will still be on it and in great condition to the end. I highly recommend the Wilken cases, and know that if you have an issue with their product you will receive superior customer service if you contact them.

I don’t know what it is about Amazon and reviewers ranting about how a leather product isn’t really leather or similar. I find it to be really offensive as every time I’ve seen those reviews on a product I’ve purchased, the product is most definitely real leather. I got the blue/tan case and it’s nice. A touch better than I was hoping for in fact. It is obviously a top grain leather as you don’t get the character shown on the surface like this case has if it isn’t. It is also for certain not an embossing. The quality of the leather is, if not higher than Apple’s leather cases, certainly more rugged. I’d say it’s much better quality but leather can be odd with the different hide types, but I seriously doubt Apple is using anything but just acceptable leather that is painted to death to make it look uniform and give the impression of quality lol. These are well constructed and will patina nicely. The price seems right at the ‘fair’ for us and the vendor mark which is best case imo. UPDATE A few days later- I’m even more impressed with this case as I’ve used it over the last few days. It has a unique and soft feel and weight to it that I’ve never experienced with any other leather case and I’ve had a few. Mostly Apple brand admittedly. I catch myself picking up my phone just to feel the case in my hand again. I’m really impressed and it’s special when I find a product that in a way is more than the sum of its parts. Well done to the manufacturer.

The leather feels and smells great. Such a beautiful and classy case. It definitely covers the entire phone so you are protected from scratches. The only thing I don’t like is how snug it fits, it seems a bit too tight. I also noticed since it’s so snug on my phone it’s starting to lift my screen protector. So if you have a more cheaper or slanted screen protector be careful. It’s also a bit too slippery. Overall good just be careful.

Amazing case despite it's simple packaging. Opening it was a bit concerning as whatever factory oil they use to protect the case during storage smelled awful. However, after cleaning the case and applying a leather conditioner the leather smell came through and my concerns were put at ease. Leather feels good in hand and is already starting to patina/darken. The buttons are nice and rounded and provide a firm feedback when pressed. The camera button cutout is just ok, not great, if using the camera button is important then this case might not be the right choice. All in all, its prety on par with the original Apple leather cases and I can't wait for it to break in and age/patina.

I ordered a Wilken iPhone 13 case, and when it arrived the leather was wrinkled at the corners because it had been improperly assembled. Not at all like their picture. The vendor has a statement on their site asking the customer contact them first to give them an opportunity to make things right. So I did contact them, but it was an enormous waste of time. First, they wanted pictures as proof. So I provided them pictures. Then they asserted the case was fine. Then they blamed the problem on Amazon, saying the the leather must have wrinkled due to "storage conditions" at Amazon. Then they said there was nothing they could do, and I should take it up with Amazon. They said the chances of it happening again were "slim to none" and if I just ordered another one, they were sure it would be fine and to contact them if I wasn't satisfied. (All this takes days because they are slow to respond) So I ordered another case from Amazon. The second case was wrinkled just like the first (funny how the case in their photo does NOT have wrinkles at the corners!) and also had one of the buttons mounted crooked. So I contacted Wilken again. Again they disbelieved and demanded more pictures. I sent them another picture. They again said take it up with Amazon. They wouldn't do anything. So there you have it. This is a case carrying a premium price, but you do not get premium quality, and you get no customer service at all. Wilken has quality control problems they won't acknowledge, and their "customer support" is nothing but to waste your time and blame Amazon. I would look elsewhere if you want a premium case.

Nice feel and great looks, slim profile that slips in the pocket. I saw one comment that the side photo button was too sensitive … agree with that. Easy fix to remove that button extension on the case however, and directly use the iPhone button. I like this case.

I've owned several leather cases for iPhones and I have to say I think this is the best (at least so far, I just got it so if it tears apart in the next few weeks, that's another story). But it appears very well made, I covers all corners well and protrudes just beyond the front surface, so I'm not afraid of scratches, and the two-tone design is striking. UPDATE: the case is very snug, with the top edges sitting just above the screen protector and shielding it from direct contact with surfaces, but the bottom edges (around the charging hole) are about flush with the screen despite my efforts to squeeze the phone into the case. I'm hoping they'll loosen with time and accept the phone a little better.

Amé el case, piel 100%, huele a piel, muy estética. Realmente usaba las de marca Apple pero a estas alturas ya no hay en tiendas, encontré esta opción y quedé sorprendido, creo que la piel es mucho de mejor calidad. Sin duda alguna la vuelvo a comprar. La amé
