Excellent OE Replacement
The factory speakers had blown in our GM vehicle. After researching various speaker manufacturers, we decided to use JBL. We know from studio to concert arena, they are considered the standard for live music. This would be my first experience with their automotive product. Still retaining the factory head unit, the speakers were a direct change out. From the bass to high end, these speakers far out perform the OE speakers. The sound is crisp,bass is responsive without an aftermarket amp. The tinsel sound you find in many aftermarket speakers is non existent. Kudos to JBL engineers, the enlarged bass area, the built in crossover and tweeter makes this unit a winner. I will be using JBL going forward for my automotive needs.

Great for the price
Not the best, but definitely a lot better than stock. For a cheap set, these work better than expected. Very pleased with these.

Works. That's about it.
Install all 4 on my 2008 chevy silverado crew cab.They work and fit. Can't say that they are any better than the stocker. Not impressed with quality. I wasn't expecting a huge improvement since I have no amp or sub but still they really are no different than the stocker at all and that's disappointing coming from JBL. Wouldn't recommend it.

Good quality for the price
Excellent quality for the price. The -3db cut switch on the tweeters is a nice touch too. They sound good with just the factory deck, but after I installed an eq and a 4 channel alpine these things came alive. I had to use the -3db switch because the highs were way to hot. Excellent fit in our Nissan murano.

Solid. Can't go wrong with JBL quality at a great price.
Great JBL quality as you'd expect from this brand. For now I am running 4 of them on a Pioneer head unit with no additional power added...yet. Sound is crisp and clean. Great price for a 4pak of premium speakers.

Great highs coming outta these speakers which is what I was looking for, but not much bass at all. If you don't have a sub you may want to shop around for something else
